"So Mycroft have you gotten yourself a goldfish", Sherlock inquiries smirking. Mycroft's eyes widen and he gulps. "Let's change the subject", he says waving his arms frantically.
"Goldfish eh? So thats what you think of me?", your voice rings through the small flat of 221b. Sherlock almost spits out his tea as you emerge from the kitchen. Mycroft looks like he has just been shot. "No, no darling", Mycroft gulps again," you aren't like ordinary people", he tried to assure you.
You huff then turn to Sherlock and smile. "You must be Sherlock pleased to meet you", you say with a warm smile. "The pleasure is all mine", Sherlock says bringing your hand to his lips. "Ha now I know at least one of you has manners", you say sending a fake glare Mycroft's way. To Mycroft though your glare was all to real.
Sherlock stifles a laugh while looking you up and down. By now you were used to this feeling, being deduced." Your so cute when your scared Mycroft", you say patting his head. He offers you a sheepish smile. "It appears you've got yourself a keeper dearest brother", Sherlock says with a sly smirk and a wink. You laugh.
Mycroft still looks very uncomfortable, uncertain of what you will do when you get home. You sigh sitting on Mycroft's lap, his hand cautiously rests on your hip. You have a pleasant conversation with Sherlock, exchanging in witty banter for a few moments.
Mycroft seemed recognizably more relaxed by the time the two of you were heading out of the flat of 221b. You smiled at him warmly as you walked to the black car hand in hand. Mycroft loosens his tie ever so slightly," I presume your aren't mad anymore." You squeeze his hand almost reassuringly. Almost.
"Oh Mycroft, silly little Mycroft I never said that", you say smiling evily.
