Chapter Twenty- "I Should of Known.."

//Where we left off with Virgil POV//
"BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH HIM!"
I quickly open my eyes at what I just yelled and I hear everything go dead silent. I look up at my parents that have wide eyes and mouths hanging open.. "..I-I'm in love with Roman Prince.." I say mostly to myself as I look back at the ground with wide eyes. Woah..d-..did I just say that?.. I feel a huge smile go across my face as I slowly look back up at everyone.

I look over to see Patton with the biggest smile and silently squealing. Lo gives me a small smile and a thumbs up. I start to chuckle a little which soon turns into a full on laugh. I look back at my parents with a grin, "I'm in love with Roman!.." I yell as I quickly race to the front door and grab my jacket. "Virgil Anthony Storm you get back here this instant young man!" I hear my mother yell at me but I don't care.

My dad comes running towards me but I quickly open the front door and bolt it. I quickly throw my jacket onto my shoulders as I run as fast as I can with the dopiest grin on my face. After a few minutes I stop and take a deep breath as I start walking. I quickly take my phone out of my pocket and call Roman..

//During Call//
R: Hello?
V: Hey babe, *pant* are you at home cause I got something I wanna *pant* tell you?..
R: Yeah I'm at hom-..Virge are you running? Is everything alright? Did your parents find out the dinner thin-
V: Ro I'm ok..*pant* Everything is some what ok-I'll explain everything when I get to your house.. What side of the house *pant* is your room on? And can you please leave a window open?..
R: Vee baby, what's going on?
V: I'll explain later trust me Princey
R: Ok, my bedroom is on the left side of my house and the backyard gate is always unlocked so just come in through there. And I'll leave my window open..
V: Ok got it, thanks
R: No prob

I smile as I quickly rush to Rom's house. I'm gonna finally tell him.. It feels so weird saying that I love him but not like a bad kinda weird more like..a good kinda weird? It's hard to describe! I take a deep breath with the same smile still across my face as I continue walking to Ro's house which thankfully is only a few more blocks away.

After a few minutes I get to my boyfriend's house and quickly walk into the alley way. I quietly open the back gate and walk through Ro's backyard (I'm in your yard I'm a dead girl walking!) My eyes grow wide as I see Remus sitting on the back patio making a trash can fire..He smirks at me and waves hi as he takes out a thing of gasoline. I give Rem a small wave back and he waved at me to come over to him.

I hesitantly walk over to Re but I keep bout six feet from him cause (corona virus..) it's Remus and you don't know what he might do.. "So you came back to f**k Ro?" Re asked me with a nasty smirk and I blush bright red. "N-No..I-um..Just came by to talk to Rom bout some stuff.." I say as I turn back around and start walking away. "*Sigh* Virg, I can't keep this a secret from you..Vee, I-um..over heard Roman talking to himself..and he was saying something bout breaking up.." Remus spits out at me and I freeze in place.

I feel my heart beating in my chest as I slowly turn back around. "W-..What?.." I ask with fear in my eyes as I look back at Re. He sighs as Rem puts the gasoline down and turns his body to face me. "Yeah! I was standing at Rom's door so I could get his trash and I over heard his saying something, something Virgil and me break up.." I let though words sink in a little but I shake my head no. 'No way would Ro invite me over for dinner to meet his parents then want to break up..' I say to myself as I take a deep breath.
