3rd POV

It had been a couple weeks since the last Bandit attack, and Barry was healing nicely, especially with his super speed. Whenever Cisco and Caitlyn talked to him, they would avoid looking at his face, and Barry had noticed.

Barry had done basically everything he could to keep Joe and Iris away while he was healing (he had even been sleeping at STAR Labs), hoping that the scar on his face would at least fade. And it did, a little. It wasn't as bad as when he has first gotten back to STAR Labs, but it was still bad. And he still looked exactly like Savitar.

The demigods didn't understand. Cisco had told them all about Savitar when they asked, but the still didn't understand. It was like saying that they shouldn't trust Percy because his grandfather was Kronos.

Peter was still having trouble wrapping his head around that he was a demigod, especially because almost all of the demigods avoided him, except for Will.

Will had been trying to do what Apollo had told him to do, watch over Peter, but Peter wasn't really giving him the chance. He had had enough with bullies, which is what he saw most of the demigods as, since they all kind of hated him. Will did explain to him about Annabeth's time under Rome with the giant spider, Arachne, which helped him understand a little, but they still all avoided him.

Today was the first day that Iris would come to STAR Labs (and see Barry) since the incident and Barry was really nervous. He had still not gotten used to his new face, and the fact that the only people that would look at his face were the demigods wasn't helping.

If his best friend couldn't look at his face, then how could he expect his wife too?

Iris finally arrived, Joe trailing after her.

"Where is he?" She asked Cisco the second she entered.

"He's in the speed lab," he replied, avoiding her eyes, "with the demigods."

He quickly explained everything that she had missed. She had already heard about Barry's face, so she had been preparing for it.

When she entered the speed lab the demigods were training and Barry was running around the speed lab. Peter was in one corner of the room sleeping on a hammock made out of his spiderwebs, a long way away from all the other demigods.

Barry must have noticed Iris enter the speed lab because he stopped running, standing a little bit away from her. She smiled when she saw him, "hey, honey!"

He was vibrating his face, so that it wasn't focused and she couldn't see it, "hi, Iris."

"Barry, I already heard about what you look like. I don't know why you don't trust me to see you." She said quietly.

"Maybe because Cisco and Caitlyn won't even look him in the face anymore." Peter said from across the room, sitting up in his hammock now, looking at them.

"How did you even hear me?" Iris asked.

He grinned and pointed at his ears, "super hearing. Remember?"

She smiled softly and looked back at Barry. "You won't  be able to do that forever, you know."

"But I can do it for as long as I can. Save you the trouble of seeing me."

She rolled her eyes, "Barry. I. Don't. Care."

Her forcefulness made his vibrating slow a little, but it almost immediately sped up again.

By all the other demigods had stopped trying and were watching them.

Barry and Iris went back and forth for a little but, until Piper got bored of it.

"Enough!" Everyone looked at her, "Barry. Stop vibrating your face." He instantly stopped and his eyes widened.

"Piper!"

"Sorry, it had to be done. She glanced at Peter, as if he would attack her for using charm speak, and he rolled his eyes, laying back down in his hammock.

Iris looked at Barry and smiled, "see? It's okay. I don't care what you look like. As long as you are Barry Allen, not Savitar."

He nodded, smiling sadly.

"Come on, let's go to the cortex," she said, "actually, everyone come!"

They all got to the cortex and Cisco started talking.

"Alright! We're not really a team. You guys," he pointed at the demigods (besides Peter), "hate him," he pointed at Peter, "for something he didn't do. Earlier you said that you don't hate Percy even though his grandfather tried to kill you all, but that's exactly what your doing to Peter. And, I'll admit, Caitlyn and I have been doing something similar with Barry, not wanting to look at him because of Savitar.

Basically, none of us are in sync. I talked to some people, and the Legends recommended that we did some team building activities!"

Iris raised an eyebrow and asked, "did the Legends recommend team building activities, or did Ray recommend team building activities."

Cisco looked at her and hesitated, "doesn't matter!"

She laughed.

"Okay, activities! What do you guys want to do?"

No one answered for a couple minutes, everyone just staring at each other.

Finally Thalia spoke up, "how about an escape room?" There were nods and mumbles of agreement from everyone besides Peter, who just paled a little bit.

Peter wasn't a big fan of the idea because he  didn't want to be stuck in a small room with a bunch of people that hate him. Plus, ever since vulture dropped a building on him he had been slightly claustrophobic. Will noticed Peter pale, but didn't think anything of it.

So they all got ready to go to an escape room.

A/N

Yes, this is a short filler, but we've kind of been hurting the characters recently, so we thought we would give them a break.

Also, sorry for us not posting on Monday like we were supposed to, but school just started up for one of us, and the other two of us are preparing for it to start again.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed!

See ya!
