*Nilesy's pov*
"Hey copycat!" I hear Sjin calling, he must be talking about Duncan
"are you ready to talk?"
I activate my rod-of-invisibility as he turns around the corner
Whew... he nearly saw me...
"where's Lalna?" Duncan asked even though he sounded serious he was so weak you could barely hear him...
"he's out... looking for your friends" Sjin was clearly lying...
I'm now at the door, when I turn to see Duncan, he had gone up to the cage, Duncan is standing up, weak. I see sjin giving him punch to the stomach winding him...
Duncan collapsed on the floor... Curled up into a ball Sjin kept yelling at him
there's nothing I can do other than go get help
Sjin will die. so will Lalna.
*Hannah's pov*
I stand up observing the others though it's night time, the moon still lights up the sky, the moon line reflecting onto the sand, Kim was asleep curled in a ball near our make-shift campfire, since the magic police came we've been unable to get into my house, there is a strange... blue barrier - a shield spell I would imagine looks like they had this set up for a while, Lewis had fallen asleep, his wounds were bandaged up, his armour was now removed... there is an obvious wound across his chest, everything seems to have stopped bleeding, though I'm sure they must be really painful... Lewis... he's too stubborn... how can we help him if he never tells us what's wrong?
I would wake him up, just because being outside with no one to talk too, it just freaks me, but instead of waking Lewis I go over to Kim, who thankfully is already waking up a bit..
"hey, Kim"
she tips her head to face me, though her eyes still closed, the flux had started to spred to the left eye..
"Dunc..u.an?
awh, she must be dreaming, I know it's pretty much earwigging but I feel like I should stay
"Duncan... what are you... doin'?"
she keeps mumbling about Duncan and all of the experiments, but then something interesting pops up
"Duncan! help! she... she's gunna get me... Duncan, flu.x qu.een. mother? help me Duncan!!?"
She's starting to panic, I decide to wake her up, nightmares are harsh things... before I get to do that though she started humming little nursery rimes, that was it, I'm waking her up
"Kim, Kim?!" I'm shaking her repeatedly. as I say her name
"Duncan?..Du..Hannah?"
Kim finally opened her eyes, she now see's me..
"was I talking?"
I sigh as I reply
"yeah, who's the 'flux queen'?"
*Kim's pov*
I look into Hannah's eyes she's staring at me... I trust Hannah, she may even be able to help me... I sighed an took a deep breath
"well, I take it that Duncan told you how I got 'fluxed' right?"
"yeah, briefly"
"okay, well since the day I got this wretched flux! this voice has been talking to me over the years, offering me power, she has this strange voice, it's hard to describe, but it's overpowering, often I've found that I've been in what feels like an endless pool of quicksand suffocating me, she claims that she is my 'mother' every time she offers me power I refuse, I know if I let her take over I will harm the people I care for... that's why I don't want to get to close to people, but I recon while Duncan is still here, I'll be fine"
"what did Duncan say when you told him?"
"well that's the thing Hannah"
pause as I scratch behind my ear... just like Duncan
"I haven't told Duncan yet..."
I see Hannah's ears prick-up as I said that
"but... it's been 3 years?"
Hannah sounding very annoyed at the moment
"yeah, it's been three years and he's only just said that I can't touch anyone!"
it's true, but I just I wish he would have told me...
"that didn't stop you two!"
I look at her in shock... how did she know this?
"oh yeah, forgot to tell you, I have eyes everywhere" she said in a sarcastic tone
I curl back into a tight ball
"I'm sorry Hannah, I shouldn't have snapped, I just... I just didn't want to tell him, when he found out that I have the flux permanently he started doing little experiments on me... I got locked in my tower... I didn't like it... he would monitor me, he did this for 100 days, I tried to run off several times... hoping to come back and he wouldn't want to do experiments on me.."
"he did eventually... I don't know what changed his mind though..."
I sit up, though I'm still covering my face with my arm
"Kim, I have eyes everywhere, including the castle, Duncan had been kidnapped for those 100 days, unfortunately, who ever kidnapped Duncan destroyed my circle"
I yawned
"Hannah? what's seeing everywhere got to do with a circle?"
"go on go back too sleep Kim, sorry for waking you up, also I can teach you about the circle magic tomorrow if you want"
"okay, also that's fine, I'm glad you did wake me up, I hate nightmares"

I awaken to a beautiful pink sky, all this did would remind me of Duncan, he would always have the pink stuff and I would always have the purple stuff...
I get up and walk over to where Lewis is was standing guard, Hannah must have swapped later at night, even though I can't see any sign of my magical blonde haired friend
"Hey! hey Lewis where's Hannah?" I feel I should call, I mean she knows my secret, also she's probably my best friend
"she's picking some berries
for breakfast since all the food is inside"
I pull my purple backpack off my back and laugh
"Lewis, I have some food"
I chuckle, I pull out several loaves of bread, loads of chicken, alongside seven pots of noodles, I have more than this left in my bag "oh... why do you have so much?"
I roll my eyes "Duncan eats lots, plus he said we might be gone awhile, better than being unprepared, oh and I have a talent called I can eat noodles all day!"
I see Lewis clamber up laughing at my joke, he was stretching as he got up
"I'll get Hannah"
"Okay, be quick Lewis, Im starting if that's okay?"
"sure, just don't eat all the noodles, I like them too"
I turn and smirk at him, I had just realised that I hadn't talked to Lewis much, but I liked his character, which made me want to know more...
only a few minutes had past, untill I see Hannah and Lewis walking out of the only bit of the jungle you could get too, there hands were linked, Hannah's head resting on Lewis's shoulder
"dinner is served!"
I call out in a posh tone
Hannah seems to perk up replying in the same tone
"oh darling you shouldn't have"
I smirk as she sits down using Lewis as leverage they both sit down, Hannah starts eating the bread, but Lewis starts a sentence as he reaches for a small pot of noodles
"thanks Kim, we should be heading out today, have you met Zoey or Rythian yet?"
