*Kim's pov*

Duncan and I are in the same boat as we make our way to Parvs place, even though Duncan's asleep he's one of the loudest, no one knows what Parvs base is called but it's our best bet, I hate sailing, it's so slow but I don't have enough energy in my jetpack to fly there, Duncan and Nilesy can barely walk, and Rythian is still passed out, Lewis is suffering from exhaustion, Hannah and I have a headache, we all need a break, we're only half way through the journey when I see Will on the way to Parvs

"hello Zoey" he yells
"hey, keep it down! Hannah and Kim have got headaches" she replies with
"oh sorry, where are you going?"
"to Parv's, we need his help... and yours, we're all a bit worse for wear really"
"okay, well I can take one of you there strait away" he offered
I look down at Duncan to see wounds every where I look, he could still die...
"um... can you take Duncan? he's got so many wounds we need them treated asap" Zoey points out "is that okay Kim?"
I begin to wake him up "that should be fine!" I sigh
"will do" Will replies
"thank you Will" I say as he picks up Duncan in a bear-hug, just as he wakes up
"hu? Kim?" Duncan mutters at he slowly wakes up "why am I flying?"
"your not silly, Strife's flying you over to Parvs place so he can start sorting you out ahead of the others, okay?"

"if you say so Kim" yawned Duncan
I watch as Will flies off with Duncan
"bye!" I call, hoping that they would hear me, Duncan give me a cheery wave as they fly off at nearly twice the speed of us

"hey Kim!" I hear Zoey call as she try's extra hard to row faster in the boat, we would be using magic since Hannah and I have a headache we plan on not using magic to speed us up, Zoey doesn't know elemental magic very well so we're just rowing for now

"how well do you know Will?"
"I don't really, but Dunc' always speaks highly of him, so I figure I could trust him" I start to think, what if that was Sjin or Lalna using a spell or something to look like Will
"you don't think it was one of the magic police do you?" I ask
"no, I know that you can do transformation spells but you can't sound like them, that's a whole different spell, also no way would they know where we're going or have enough energy to move let alone cast high level spells" reassures Zoey
"thanks Zo' I was so worried that I had just made a mistake
"that's fine, plus Rythian taught me how to read people's minds so I could talk to Teep" she says with conference
"Teep?" I question
"oh yeah, you haven't met Tee, he's our dinosaur, we found him one day he was hunting, I got shot in the arm, Rythian healed it though... but we talked it over with him, turns out he's mute! but he's an excellent shot, so he stays and guards our castle for us"
"wow" I exclaim rather astonished
"what are you plans after this?" she asks rather interested "I mean after we all heal up a bit?"
I don't know what to say "I've still got my apprenticeship with Duncan, and well I need to be cured from the flux... I don't know really, I need to get rid of the magic police... though I'd like to hang out with you guys more!" she smiles as I say this
"that's great I'd love to hang out with you some more, but do you know how much longer the boat ride is gunna be? Rythie's getting heavy laying on me"
I look across to see Zoey sitting cross-legged with Rythian's head resting on her lap
"have you seen it?"
"seen what?"
"under his mask?"
"yeah... not often though..."
"why does he have it covered all the time?"
"he has his reasons, I've made a promise not to tell anyone, even Tee doesn't know" I nod in acknowledgment, I look back to see Hannah sitting with her legs tucked underneath her, along with Nilesy behind her curled up fast asleep while Lewis was the other side sitting propped up chatting to her

"those two act inseparable when there together, but there fine when there apart"

"yeah... Lewis spends a lot of time away from her, there used to it, though she was furious when she first found out that he was taking longer shifts at the Jaffa Factory, they've had lots of problems but they've overcome them... together... there like the giant oak, we're all just saplings... but we can be giant oaks too, we just need to grow..."

"what about Nilesy? you've told me everything about everyone besides myself, Duncan and Nilesy"

"well Nilesy is Hannah's best friend, he's always there for her, you'll often find he'll get himself hurt trying to stick with her, she once saved his life when he nearly drowned in one of his pools... fancy that! a pool man that can't swim!" I roll my eyes at this

"what about Duncan? do you know anything about Lalna too?"

"well I know Duncan, a while back he used to go by both names, now he only goes by Duncan, my guess his character got split, one half Duncan the other Lalna, does he per chance specialise in science?"
"yeah? he does bits of magic though, he often goes screaming around the house going 'for science!' such a dork!"
"that means the chance is Lalna will do a bit of science too"
*sigh*
"as soon as I get Duncan back I send him away to get better... to be truthfully Zoey my heart aches when he's away... I'm not use to it, he's always been there, even when he gone away he's always came back when he said he would, he never broke a single promise he made..."
"oh Kim, he loves you so much, you know the first thing he did when he woke up once he had came through the portal, he asked where you were, he was determined to get to you even if it killed him, I made him fall asleep so he didn't, but I'm sure he would have ran until he found you"

I look down at Duncan "I love him so much, he can be really stupid sometimes but more often than not he can be just what you need... what can you tell me about you?"

"um... I fell from the sky... Rythian found me, brought me back to his camp, we built home together... it was all perfect... until who we can only explain as Lalna tried to place nukes under our base, luckily he was spotted before he did, it all got to me... and Rythian, he found my lab, he found the one thing I didn't want him knowing... he got mad, I ran off, I went to live with my friends... the mushrooms... well there were rebels, long story short I left, Rythian had gone war hungry, without me there his enderside was realised... he was attacked... he couldn't hide where he was anymore, this ender-babe attacked him, our home, when I returned everything had been destroyed... we rebuild... though the scars are still there... we-"

*THUNK*

I see her jump out of the boat onto the sand chanting "we're here!"
