*Kim's pov*
we're here at Lomadia's place, when we arrive all I see are really tall trees and I mean REALY tall, our castle almost reaches the clouds, the trees are nearly twice that size, they look so fun to climb!
on top of most of the trees there are little building but they don't have people in then, they have, owls?
"DUNCAN?" I hear a female voice squeal
"HANNAH!"
Duncan calls to her as soon a he stands up, seriously why can't the guy just land on his feet? I have to say it is kinda cute... WHAT? how could I think that..?
*Duncan's pov*
I'm greeted with a warm hug, really warm! Hannah sure lives in a hot biome.
"Duncan, it's been so long! where the hell have you been?"
"my castle, duh" I smirk
"the cheek! you won't be sane if you stay by your self for much longer... you know how long you've been away right?"
"Hannah, yes I know how long I've been away for... I've not been on my own, this is Kim..." I said pointing towards Kim who was crouched down in the shadows trying reach an animal of some sort
*Hannah's pov*
"hey Kim! I'm Lomadia, if you have any worries or if you just want a chat or a cuppa you can come here!" I said trying to get her attention
she steps out from underneath a bush, she was trying to stroke a squirrel but couldn't quite reach, as she steps in the the sun, I see purple flux, I start to panic thinking what has Duncan brought to my 'owl island' but as she steps out more I see a young girl, around my age... long dark platted hair... I recognised the eyes..
"gee thanks Lomadia!" She smiles, half of her looked demonic... evil... But, the other half looked like a normal girl? She sounded like a normal girl too...
"glad to hear it" I say in a playful tone
"are you guys gunna come in or are you gunna stand outside all day?"
*Kim's pov*
Hannah leads us inside to her house, I can't help but wonder how close are Duncan and Hannah...? When they were reunited... they were so happy so each other....that was a sight...
am I jealous? No No I can't! he's my teacher... my best friend, besides...
*Duncan's pov*
"hey Han' how's Mr owl?" I can't help asking her this it always puts a smile on her face when ever someone talks about her owls
"he doing great Dunc', you'll be surprised at how big he is now!"
as we walk into her living room she motions for Kim to sit
"Dunc' would you mind coming with me? Hannah asks me as she walks to the kitchen
"not at all, be back in a sec Kim" I see Kim look up and answer me
"okay! don't be too long" she exclaimed
"Duncan! what happened? why were you gone for 3 years? what has happened to that girl surely she wasn't spawned in like that!?" Hannah snapped
"Hannah I was gone for so long because I've been teaching Kim and I've been worried that everyone would pick on her because of her problem..."
"Duncan what did you do?" she accused
I tried to start explaining but... a single tear flows down down my cheek... this was my fault...
"I had to do it... I couldn't do anything els..."
"what? what?"
"she fell, she was near death she... I... healed her with the flux... the potions wouldn't work... the flu... flux... it's gone bad there was too much... it's taking her over..."
Hannah can see how upset I'm getting...
"thank you Duncan there is no need to say anything els" she says a she hug me, I hug her back, I missed my friends so much, I missed just a simple hug...
"heh Kim is singing.." Hannah spotted, we both started watching Kim singing and running finger over the patterns that the flux made on her arm
"Hey Kim" Hannah calls out "want a cuppa?"
Kim stops singing and looks rather confused...
"do you want a cup of tea?" Hannah asked again
"yes please Lomadia"
she replied slightly dazed
"call me Hannah!"
"okay! yes please 'Hannah'!"
Kim repeated
