*Duncans pov*

"hey Zoey don't shoot" I hear Kim say sarcastically, it seems to make Zo' jump this makes Kim giggle though I see her walk strait towards me...
"oh Duncan... I missed you" she sighed as a warm hug is pressed upon me, I look down to see my gloves covering up a rather large amount of flux starting from my fingertips to my elbow "I'm sorry Duncan..."
I look down to see the letter Kim had written for me i my hand curled around it
"K-Kim, I thought you wouldn't make it..." I blurt out
"why would you think that?"
"there strong... everything I tried wouldn't work"
"Kim" Zoey interrupts "where are the others?"
"there on there way, though both Rythian and Nilesy are unconscious though"
her eyes flicker like little flames "I'll be right back, Rythian... oh god... he didn't use to much power did he?" she asks rather worried
"that was Lewis's guess, why?" I wonder
"he could be out for days!" she says as she sprints towards the group
"what's wrong? I'm sure they'll be fine" I ask
"well... Rythian said he should be able to cure you, with no problem but if it got any worse then it would be harder he said you have about three days before it becomes hard to remove, so that's whats wrong..." she goes to get up, to follow Zoey
"don't go" I plead "stay here, I need you"
she turns back around and sits beside me her head resting on my shoulder
"how did we get into this mess Kim? it was fine to start of with, we would laugh, have fun, now everything is happening so fast... I'm sure I had been there any longer they would have beaten me to death" I sigh she knows it's true...
"I don't know Dunc', I just hope it's over soon, I miss our home our animals! I just wish we could go home and this was all a dream"
"it woulda been one hell of a dream... I liked the start the best..." I sigh thinking of our moment above the canopy "yeah..." she says as she turns to face me "I love Duncan" I look into her eyes they share the same compassion and love as my heart does for her, she put her hands around my neck as we kiss I hear birds singing and I feel the warmth on my untainted skin, some parts of me hopes this isn't a dream...
