In a time when the world becomes centered around video games, one professional team tops them all as the best and most famous. They call themselves Team Gents, and are at the top of the Anarchy Leaderboard for Fate, the most popular, famous, and most professionally and casually played game in the world. Just when Team Gents is at their finest, though, seemingly unstoppable and unbeatable, their title is taken from right under their noses by a mysterious team named Team Lads. Prepared to reclaim their title at all costs, the Gents prepares a plan to battle against the Lads for the top spot on the Anarchy Leaderboard of Fate. The question is, though, will Team Gents be able to retake their crown from Fate's newest champion team?

Extra Details

This is another Achievement Hunter story, (Surprise, surprise), with the teams being how they normally are, with Geoff, Jack, and Ryan on the Gents, and Ray, Michael, and Gavin on the lads. I am also only including the six main Achievement Hunters in this book.

Again, like usual, there is no shipping in this story, and the small amount of OCs in this story have little to no impact on the plot. And, as I always say, no legal action against me, or anything like that. Thank you.

There will be violence and swearing in this story, too, so you have been warned.

Notes About the Cover for this Story

There really isn't much to say about this one. The cover only depicts the logo of the fake game I created for this story, Fate. That's really all there is to it.

Fun Facts

This section is something new for me, but I thought I'd try it out. It's pretty much just a few things that occured during production of a book of mine before it's uploaded to Wattpad. I thought you guys might want to see a bit of what goes on behind the scenes, so here you go!

1.) The concept for this story was inspired by the web series Video Game High School. I found the videos really interesting, and decided to write something with a similar world and concept. The plot is extremely different than the series though, so no worries there!

2.) The game the Achievement Hunters play professionally in this book was originally named Destiny. That was, at least, until I remembered that there was already a popular, triple A game called Destiny. So, to avoid confusion, I renamed the fictional game featured in this book to Fate.

3.) The first chapter of this book is a reference to one of the most interesting and well written fanfictions I've ever read, said fanfic also being one of my personal favorites. Props to you if you know or can figure out what story I'm talking about. :)
