" Can I get off early today Sir"
Mr. Gonzalez looked at me surprised, it was unusual for me to take time off because I'm a workaholic.
" Of course , mind if I ask what's the special occasion?"
" Oh nothing special since the wedding is coming up , Dylan and I haven't spent much time together "
Next month, my fiancé Dylan and I will be tying the knot. We've been together for a year now .
Mr Gonzalez rolled his eyes, he wasn't a fan of Dylan because I was the one who worked and bring in the cash.
" When will you realize that you deserve better?"
" When will you learn to start taking your medication " I retorted
" Touché " he grinned and I got my stuff to leave.
" I'll see you tomorrow "
I went to the supermarket and bought something to prepare dinner, Dylan would be at his mother's house during this time so that gave me time to cook. I got the most expensive wine and some steak to cook. I payed for the items and drove back to my apartment.
When I got there I saw Mia standing in the driveway,well there goes my plan for the evening.
" Hey babygirl wassup"she gave me a quick peck on the lips and took the shopping bag out of my hands.
" I was going to spend some quality time with my fiancé and do a little cooking" she grimaced at my statement and I giggled.

" Freak" we walked to my apartment door while she started to share details about her date last night both before and after.
" Okay too much information " I blocked my ears to stop hearing the foul words coming out of her mouth.
