Ivory's POV
It's been almost a month and Raymond has been the best and I've decided that maybe marrying him wouldn't be bad as I thought it would be. I would be lying if I said I didn't like him , I've grown attached to him and it made me scared sometimes. Today was the day we made the decision.
" Ivory please to come to my office" I put away the files I was searching through and went to Mr Gonzalez office and saw Raymond annoying his father.
" But come on Dad it's not like you can fly it no more" He whined. He has been begging to fly his father's helicopter many years now but Mr Gonzalez wouldn't let him even if he was six feet under.
" If you don't stop whining I'm gonna give you a good old fashion beating" I snorted, like he would feel that.
" Hey babe" he came over and kissed my cheeks. I looked over Mr Gonzalez and he had a smug look on his face. I couldn't help but blush what was that old man thinking now.
" So I'm guessing there is a wedding to plan"
" Dad please don't let that wedding planner from Paris do it this time"
" He is your cousin Raymond , you know how he gets cranky when we leave him out" Raymond rolled his eyes and cursed under his breath.
" The wedding will take place in three weeks so Ivory you gotta start shopping from now" That was quick
"Yes sir"
" We'll discuss this tomorrow you two love birds can go now" he shooed us.
We walked out his office and Raymond slapped my ass when no one was looking .
" Raymond" I gasped. We haven't done the deed but we've messed around alot.
" Let's go to Mia's workplace" Mia worked at a fancy Spanish restaurant and how she kept her job so long is a wonder to me. We parked our car and were led to a table and waited for a waitress when I saw Mia serving a table.
" Buenos your tardes what can I get you" the couple looked at her confused and then gave their order in Spanish.
" Look because this is a Spanish restaurant doesn't mean I speak Spanish okay I'm a black woman I speak English" she spoke to them like they were five year olds learning how to count.
Another waitress came over and served the couple. Raymond and I bursted into laughter and Mia saw us so she came over.
" What can I get you clowns today"
"Some paella would be nice" she sat down and called another waitress.
" Aye Chini we would like three bowls of paella and wine please some strong one" she was unbelievable.
" So whatcha two up to"
" Mia will you be my maid of honor" she looked at me shock.
" You getting married" Raymond shooked his head and then Mia let a loud squeal.
" Bitch yes and Caramel make sure I get some of your sexy cousins okay " she winked at him.
" Yup you can have them all"
We ate our paella and Raymond took me to a park. We walked and laughed eating our ice creams. We came to a clearing and I saw little children not more than five years old playing. I couldn't help but smile I've always loved children and can't wait to have my own.
Then four of them came up to me giggling. Each had a paper and a rose one by one they opened up the papers and it formed
Will you marry me
I turned around and saw Raymond on one knee and a velvet box in his hand. He opened it and a diamond ring was inside.
" Ivory Richards I've known you for years and never dreamt that this day would actually happened. To be honest I always had a thing for you that's why I annoyed you alot . I promise to be faithful, loving and the best husband I can be. Let's forget our past and think about our future . Will you marry me?" By now tears were streaming down my face.
" Yes " he slid on the ring and gave me a hug. All the kids began cheering and I haven't realized but the press was already here.Then a little boy tugged on Raymond's pants.
" Hey you promised us ice cream" and all the kids muttered yeah and turned to Raymond with folded arms and a serious expression.
" I did so follow me to the land of ice cream " he ran off and all the kids were screaming like crazy and ran after him and magically Titus also ran after Raymond, where he came from I have no idea. It was such a beautiful sight. Then I saw Mia pop up out of the bushes.
" Did you know about this"
" Yup Caramel would've pissed his pants if I didn't help".I laughed at my best friend and walked in the direction Raymond and his disciples went.
