Chapter 27- I love you

Ivory's POV

" We need to talk"

" There's nothing to talk about Raymond" I tried to push past him but he grabbed my and and spun me around.

" You deserve a man that make you happy 24/7, hold you every night and tell you that he loves you, someone who you can share happy memories with not a man that you marry because of a business contract and his father well being, you deserve much more"

" Raym..." He placed a finger on my lips.

" Ivory I want you to know that I had fallen in love with you before I found out about the business contract"

" Wh..at"

" I love you Ivory and I want to be the man of your dreams and not some asshole that you have to marry through a fucking business contract."

" I love you too Raymond" he leant down and kissed my lips passionately.

" Finally you little old punks" We parted and saw Mr Gonzalez smoking a cigar.

" Dad" Raymond snatched the cigar but he took out another.

" Mr Gonzalez you're sick" I stared at him in disbelief.

" Ivory oh sweet Ivory I was just giving you both a push start."

" What" Raymond and I screamed at the same time.

" You see the both of you needed each other and it's not everyday you come cross a good woman like you Ivory my son was too much of an idiot to realize so I thought business wise" he puffed out a huge smoke.

" Oh this shit is good" he mumbled

We were speechless and soon enough he turned off and walked back to the house. We stared at each other and shook our heads that's not what matters now.

" I can't believe my own father played me like that"

" I can't believe either"

The sun was about to set and it was beautiful.

" So is the wedding still on"

" Do you want it to be"

" Of course"

" I was thinking about a night wedding" I stared at the nutcase.

" What!"

" Ivory what are we waiting on as a matter of fact it's a beautiful night"

" I guess "

" Going out tonight changes into something red" he began to sing One Direction.

" Oh no" I ran inside the house. Everyone was inside the dining room eating and Titus getting scolded.

" Auntie are the garden lights still working"

" Yes"

" Can you get the pastor "

" Yes I can what are you up to"

" We're getting married tonight" we beamed at them.

" Girl why are you still standing there come on"

Miron, Mia and Raymond's cousin I think her name was Hela rushed me towards the master bedroom. Everyone was running around I was pushed into a bathroom and into a bubble bath. I saw Mia come foward with some wax strips.

" What the hell you gonna do with that"

" Bitch you gonna get it , the least you can do is look sexy"

This is gonna be a long night

My hair was combed, makeup done, dress on and ready to go. I was so damn nervous and anxiety was killing me. Mia and the others were ready and already downstairs.

Someone knocked on the door and I opened it and saw a little girl with a bouquet in her hand.

" Señorita this is for you" she said with a cute smile.

" Thank you and what's your name"

" Lia, what's yours "

"Ivory" she giggled

" That's pretty"

" Just like you"  she sat in my lap with her thumb in her mouth.

" Aren't you my flowers girl"

" Sí but mi mama sent me to give you flowers"

" Oh I guess you should go down ..."

" Lia! "I heard her mom shout.

" Well seems like mommy found you" I kissed her cheeks.

" Lia come on, Ivory I'm sorry if she was bother" It was Raymond's cousin Helen.

" Oh no Lia here was good company we should definitely hang out later"

" Please mommy"

" Of course but now you need to be downstairs by the way you look beautiful Ivory"

" Same to you " Lia jumped off my lap and running down the hallway with her mom chasing her. I started to think about my own and wondered if Raymond ever though about it.

" Are you ready?" I turned around and saw Mr Gonzalez in his suit with a cigar in his mouth.

" I never took you for a sly fox Mr Gonzalez"

" Well I can be" he let out a chuckle and I sighed.

" How do I look"

" Beautiful just like how you always were , now it's time to face the music are you ready?"

" Yes dad"
