Raymond's POV
When Ivory invited me to stay over, I was quite surprised she hated my guts. With that I dropped her off at her friends apartment and told her they can stay at my house. I was driving to the supermarket and I remembered what she said.
" Next time you fall in love it will be the perfect match"
I wondered what I felt towards Julie was it love or because we've been together for a long time made it hurt so much. I blocked and deleted her number and ensured she had no access to my money. I was a successful man without my father's help. I had clubs, hotels, hospitals and restaurants in each continent across the globe.
I remembered the first time I met Ivory, I was only 15. Dad came home from work earlier than usual and brought them in. I will admit that I had a teeny tiny crush on her that's why I love to annoy her but she couldn't stand me at all. I remembered one time she locked me up in the girls bathroom because I kept eating her lunch.
I went inside the supermarket and got chips, candy, wine,soda and every other junk food
you could think of.Then I went to four different fastfood restaurants and got burgers, fries , pizza and nuggets. I know I maybe going a little overboard but it's my first sleep over and if all this keeps Ivory's friend afar so be it.
I went home and got the blankets ready, the food on the table and Netflix, then went to pick up the girls.
"Oh caramel you're here" oh great
" My name is Raymond " I told her while she got in the car.And still there was no sign of Ivory.
" And my name is Mia, Ivory's friend, your future wife" this woman is delusional.
" Where's Ivory"
" She coming dont need to get your panties in a twist" how Ivory puts up with her I don't know.
I looked out the window and saw Ivory in a gray sweatshirt with a grey sweatpants. Her brown hair was tied up in a bun and she had no makeup on. I felt my heartbeat begin to pick up and I leaned back in my chair and sighed. She was so beautiful.
" I see somebody got a crush on my homegirl"
" I do not"
" Do too"
" Do not"
" Yes"
" No"
" Would you two children stop bickering " when did she get in the car.
" While you were acting like a child"
" Rude"
" Whatever just drive"
It took fifteen minutes to reach at my house, and it was filled with Mia singing old hits well trying to sing.
" Holy Mother of My Uterus, how much money do you got"
" Alot " I answered with a smirk. I saw Ivory rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath.
" Did you say something Ivory"
" Just shut up " we got out of the car and went inside the house. Suddenly Mia let out a loud scream.Making me jump .
" What's wrong , you don't like it, my first time I don't.."
" Nigga shhhh , I will marry you right now. This is every woman's dream right now.
I heard Ivory chuckled.
" Let's watch Girls Trip"
Everybody nodded and we spent the whole night laughing and eating to our hearts desire.
