Chapter 15 is a particular chapter in this book, and has meaning to me. You see, this specific chapter covers Domestic violence explicitly, however, I must say this, this chapter is not for everyone. Flutterfright's past is quite a tragic story, and for some, the event that are about to unfold are quite traumatizing, and some have even been through such events. And abuser can be so unassuming, and won't show their true colors until it's too late. Once that happens, a cycle of abuse begins, and it becomes difficult for a victem to get out of such a situation. Even when they do, the scars last forever.
PTSD is nothing to look at lightly, imagine the most horrifying memories continuously playing on repeat whenever someone starts to do something that otherwise would have been taken for granted. Flashbacks of trama and pain can occur at any moment, and all that has to happen is one condition. PTSD is not something that can be cleared up simply by trying to wish it away, and thus the ignorance that others have to the issue can be especially upsetting.
For those that have experienced Demostic violence or other types of trama, and are suffering PTSD, DID, and other drama related issues, I have put up this section to warn you that this next chapter is rather unpleasant, and thus I would plead that you skip past 15 and move to 16, for it may cause flashbacks and dissociation. I apologize for the inconvence and will say this. You are important, you are amazing, and you are so much stronger than you give yourself credit. I understand why you have gone through, and I'm sorry that you ever had to go through such torments and pain. May you find peace and safety in the long road we all walk, no matter what road we walk along.
