['It can not be helped'] ~ Tsukishima Kei

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐨

"Ah, Tsukishima, what can I do for you?" 
"I was wondering if I could move seats, my eyes feel strained sitting so far back. I apologise for the inconvenience." He bowed apologetically as the teacher waved her hand with a smile.
"I will look at the seating plan and give you a new seat by next lesson." 
"Thank you."
Tsuki smiled to himself, pleased that he would finally be able to get some bloody work done-

Tsuki groaned, looking down at whatever hit him and Oh God..
"Hi again! Wow, when I said see you around I didn't mean literally."

"Yes well, I'll be going now."
"Oh yeah, I'm going that way too! We can walk together."

Mood deteriorating.

Tsuki sped up, using his long legs to his advantage as he turned the corner into the cafeteria. He was thankful to see his usual table and everyone around it; Hell, he was even happy to see Hinata and Kageyama. He let out a huff as he sat next to Lily, resting his head gently against her shoulder. "Rough day already?" She said softly, rubbing his hair with a smile.
"You have no idea.."

The end of the day was quickly approaching and it was time for volleyball practise. As the school bell sounded, every classrooms and every corridors emptied inhumanly fast as each student practically sprinted for freedom. 
Lily and Tsuki walked lazily toward the gym, enjoying the silecne and each others company until they turned up.
"Tsuki my boy, I see you've gotten taller over the summer! Haha, like a real lampost." 
"Lily-Chan!" Noya leaped at her, his arms wide open for a welcoming hug that nearly knocked her over. "N-noya!" 
"Now, now Lily-Chan, It's Noya Senpai." He boasted proudly, puffing his chest out as Tanaka followed suit. Tsuki pushed on with a sigh, dragging Lily along behind him.

"I see you are all well after summer, what did you all do? Smoking? Underage drinking in the park? Drugs?!" 
"No Coach.."
"Oh.. Well good! You have very responsible parents. When I was your age-" 
"Yes, thank you for that Coach Ukai.." Takeda butted in with a wide eyes and an awkward laugh, giving a little speech on how happy he was everyone was okay and how he hoped for a good year.
"Okay, set up the nets. Let's play some volleyball!" 

"Hey Lil, you and Yachi good?"
"Yeah Coach, all good."
"Good, gotta look after the managers too ya' know." Lily smiled, taking her usual seat on the little wooden bench as a nostalgic feeling flashed over here; reminsing on her first time watching them play. Shaking her from her thoughts was a gentle flick at her forehead, causing her to groan in pain and annoyance. "What you lookin' at, little ant?" Tsuki towered over her, clutching his water bottle with a smile; a soft smile to make his mean comment seem softer. 
"Just thinking about the first time I sat here and how much of an arse I thought you were." She smiled back, grabbing his free hand gently. Gently rubbing his thumb against her smaller hand, he quickly scanned the area with his eyes before pecking her forehead gently; slipping his yellow bottle into hand before returning to the court.

"Make me proud!"
"Shut up you pea."

"You played well today Hinata." 
"Really Noya Senpai?! I think Kageyama and I are doing really well with our sets now."
"I was doing fine before.."
"You too Saltyshima, your blocks are strong. That'll be useful." 
"Thanks, I like to think they have always been good." He smiled smugly but it was nice to get a compliment from his superiors. He liked to think he was an important asset to the team.
After the gym was cleared and feedback was given, Ukai told them all to 'scram' as they fled from the gym.
The autumn sky graced them once again; the late summer sun beamed down and the pretty colours of pink and orange bled togetheras  perfectly as it did last year; except this was a new year and both Lily and Tsuki were determined to make it great.
"The new first years have their trials tomorrow; exciting right? I remeber when you little pipsqueaks were first years.." Tanaka blubbered, wiping fake tears as Noya sobbed quietly. 
Tsuki rolled his eyes; Hinata smiled with excitement. 
"Do you think they will be good?! I hope they are, it's exciting right Kageyama?"
"God, you are so annoying."
"Hey!" 

Tsuki grew tired of their useless bickering and grabbed Lily's arm; dragging her down the sideroad. It was the long route home but at least it would be peaceful. Lily yanked her arm back once they were far from view. "What was that about?" 
"They are irritating."
"Well, you are irritating."
"Is that so?" Tsuki pulled her toward him; holding her little squishy face within his palms with a smile. "What if I said I wanted to be alone with you because I wanted to kiss you all day, would I still be irritating?" 
"Yes, because you haven't done it already." 
Now being held against the narrow alleyway walls, Lily pressed her lips together in anticipation feeling her body growing hot and her cheeks turning a light pink. Tsuki leaned forward with a smirk; their lips were inches apart but not yet touching; Lily pushed her body forward in the hopes that she could close the distance between them but the male just chuckled at her.
"How cute; what's wrong? Am I irritating you?" Keeping a hand on her arms that were placed neatly above her head; he trailed his fingers lightly up the side of her body. Lily twitched and shivered at his touched as a stray gasp left her lips which only seemed to amuse the blonde. 
"Yes, you are." Lily responded shakily, feeling her knees grow weaker the closer he gets.

"Good; then I'm sure this will make you most angry." He pecked her lips gently before moving away from her, placing his headphones on and resuming his long walk home. Lily stood still against the wall; taking a deep breathe to understand what just happened; no thoughts just Tsuki and his stupid face.
