"I don't see why I have to go"
Octavius rolled his eyes as he tried to make a knot on the tie while looking at himself in the mirror. "Ansel for the last time, you are going whether you like it or not. Besides, Elixir invited you as well."
Ansel while buttoning a black shirt walked out of the bathroom, smirking at him. "You just don't want to get bored."
"That's not true." Octavius made a frustrated noise, unable to tie his knot. He yanked it off and removed his shirt. He glanced into his wooden cupboard, looking for something else to wear.
"That's the second shirt you threw. What are you getting so hopped up for? It's just dinner with Elixir, her mom and her lame friends."
Octavius ran a hand over his blue hair, sighing. Better let him know. "Dude, she kissed me."
"What?"
He could resonate the cringe in Ansel's voice just as he felt from inside. When Elixir had grabbed him earlier and tugged his mouth down to meet her, his last night's food had risen up.
Octavius pulled on a grey shirt from the rack and slipped it on. Buttoning it up, he walked back into his room. The walls were dark blue with his king sized bed in the middle with blue sheets.
Standing on opposite of each side of his bed, both of them looked at one another.
"Are you serious?"
"Yup. She said she has feelings for me."
"Right. So why does it look like you caught a dead fish?"
Stupidly, his thoughts went to Eliot.
Then, he shook his head, trying to not think about her. "Nah, I like this. I wanted this for a long time now."
Ansel didn't say anything at first as he crossed his hands over his chest. Simply observing his lying friend. He knew Octavius inside out.
The ass was lying but all he didn't know was why. Then, he spoke, wanting for intel on his weird situation. "Okay, so are you doing this? Being in a relationship with her?"
"We haven't discussed anything yet. Just the confession of her feelings for me and that kiss."
Octavius tried not to flinch again. As he snagged his bike keys from his desk, he looked upon his drawing sheet. It wasn't blank this time.
Instead it had a curl. He drew a freaking curl that resembled closely to the ringlets of someone's- Enough! Can't think about her now.
As they moved out of the house, Ansel scratched his jaw and glanced at Octavius. "What about Eliot?"
Immediately he stilled just as he mounted on his bike.
Handing him the helmet, he tugs his own. He acted disinterested. "What about her?"
Ansel shrugs as he shoved the helmet on his head. "I don't know. Just the fact your eyes glow when I say her name."
"Back off, Ansel. There is nothing happening between her and me. She is just.."
"Super sexy. With those bo-"
In a spilt second, Octavius pushed him on his chest. He grated in warning. "Watch it."
Ansel couldn't help but snicker. As he got on the bike behind him, he teased Octavius. "I'm just saying. In fact, would it be cool if I hit on her?"
