Regret

Draco watched as his as his date walked out the tiny cafe, what had he said this time. Oh yeah, he didn't want to have sex after the second date, he bearly knew the guy for Christ sake.

The guy, who in Draco's opinion had to big of an ego for his liking got mad saying 'anyone would do it with him after the second date and that Draco was missing out, and that he would never find anyone who would want to be with a pick bitch that took things so slowly.'

Draco got up from the table he was sitting at leaving a twenty dollar bill on the table before heading out of the cafe. He wasn't surprised that this was his third failed date in the past two months. Draco decided he'd just go back to his apartment and eat ice cream, get a little drunk and watch tv the rest of the day, it's not like he had work tomorrow.

That was the plan until he got a text from Pansy saying that their group of friends, which consisted of Draco's best friend Pansy, Hermione and her husband Ron, Seamus and his boyfriend Dean, Blaise and his 'friend' Neville, Ginny and her strange girlfriend Luna, Harry Potter ( Draco has had a crush on him ever since they were introduced to each other) who was dating someone but Draco couldn't remember their name, and sometimes Percy (Ron's brother) and his husband Oliver who played professional soccer, decided they all wanted to go out for drinks and Pansy told Draco he could say no.

Now Draco was at some dumpy bar on his fifth drink that night telling his friends about his shitty date earlier that day. Everyone gave Draco there sympathy and went back to drinking, everyone except Harry blood Potter who decided he want to know how Draco was feeling. Lucky for Draco his partner was not with them to night so Draco could take up all of Harry's time.

"I'm feeling better now that your here" Draco flirted trying to hint to Potter about his attraction to him. "That's good" Harry replied oblivious to Draco's advancement, but Draco could help himself but to flirt with Harry the entire night even though he knew that Harry was already dating someone.

Once everyone had enough to drink they slowly started to head home only a few being a little tipsy, Draco being the drunkest of the group. Pansy went up to Harry who was standing out side the bar holding onto a slightly drunk Draco so he wouldn't fall over. "Hey" Pansy began to get Harry's attention "could you take Draco back home with you I don't want him driving the way he is" as if to prove her point Draco said in a slurred voice that he could drive just fine then proceeded to stumble forward a little, "yeah I can take Draco back to my place" Harry said.

Once they finally got to Harry's apartment, no help from Draco who during the whole ride instead that he could drive home, Harry sat Draco down on the couch "I'll go get you some water" Harry said heading to the kitchen, once back he went to hand the drink to Draco but instead got pulled down by his shirt and Draco's lips, which were filled with so much passion on his before he could stop him.

Instead of pushing Draco away though Harry set down the glass and kissed Draco back with just as much emotion, Draco started to take Harry's shirt of when his hand was grabbed and Harry pulled away "Draco stop I have I girlfriend and we are very happy together, I'm sorry if I lead you on but I can't do this" Harry said with sadness in his voice "no I'm sorry" Draco said leaving Harry not the his apartment and walking back home.

2 years later:
After they day Draco had kissed Harry things between them were weird they barely talked and eventually they fell out they never talked to each other and the only time they hung out was when they group got together.

Now Harry was getting married to his girlfriend in just a few days, of course Draco was invited but he doubted he would actually go.

Draco always wondered if he and Harry had actually talked about their feelings for each other that they would be dating right now, but Draco know that Harry loved his girlfriend just as much as Draco loved Harry and all he wanted for Harry was for him to be happy so he didn't want to get between them.

The biggest regret of Draco's life was probably not talking his feeling out with Harry and letting their friendships fire die out. Of only he could turn back time.
