Dorms

One month into the school year and dorms were finally being assigned. As mentioned before, Mrs. and Mr. Midoriya along with Mrs. and Mr. Bakugo requested that their sons be put in the same room. The Business/ Support students, who now just call themselves the Dual Classed, have their own dorm. This was put in place because the hero students had their own dorm rooms and Shiketsu was a school without favoritism. Every dorm was, however, different. The Hero Course dorm was taller, the General Education dorm was wider, the pure Support class dorm was longer, the pure Business class dorm was more square shaped, and the Dual Classed students had a more circular shaped building.

Floors were determined by how many students were in each class, then an extra three bedrooms were added.

For the Dual Classed students, the dorm system went like this.

-Walk in-Living room-Kitchen to the side-downstairs bathroom section-mapping room- storage room w/ large lockers- building room-staircase

-Top of staircase- hallway- girls showers/restroom- boys showers/restrooms- gender neutral showers/ restrooms (had to have permission from dorm captain)- spare parts room- more lockers- gaming area (large)- headphone dispenser/ earplug dispenser- staircase

-Top of staircase-dorms- restrooms- dorms- conference rooms-staircase

The dorm system required two people per room, but with the Business and Support student (both Separate and Dual classed) it was optional. Not for Bakugo and Midoriya of course, if their parents wanted them in the same room then they would be in the same room. They weren't stupid enough to deny their parents until they came of age.

Some students in their class chose to have a roommate as well, but most of them chose to sleep alone. Midoriya was envious of them but quickly squashed the feeling. Envy was a gateway drug to jealousy, and he refused to be jealous over a lousy dorm.

The pairs or non pairs went like this.

Go Kame and Horiuchi Ume decided to share a dorm. Soda Kohaku and Takata Michi share a room. Doi Kenshin and Murayama Masayoshi paired together. Maeda Kichiro wanted a dorm to himself, he claimed it would be easier that way, Midoriya and Bakugo agreed. Maki Astuko and Takaro Minami share a dorm together. Naokao Hotaka and Kitigawa Asuka chose to dual dorm. You all know that Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki are sharing a dorm (against their personal wishes). Ms. Yamamoto Yukako lives in the teacher dorm, which she was secretly thankful for because her apartment was utter and complete shit, but her students couldn't know that, or you know what? Yeah, they could. She wasn't going to hide stuff like this from her students.

The students were given a week to settle into their new dorms. Usually, this wouldn't happen, but the students were clearly ahead of other schools, so this was a treat. The Hero and General Course students did have to attend school, that was entirely their doing. 'Spending time with friends' and 'taking a day off'. Business and Support Courses did not believe in such things. Spending time with friends? Help each other in class. Badda bing badda boom. Who wants to take a day off? It's a useless waste of time. Time is money. Time is important. Time is rare. Time is unsparing. It was literally written on a poster inside their classroom.

Their teacher firmly believed in this saying as well, so she slipped it in that some of their rooms were noise proof. The students were more than happy to 'accidentally' here this.

The tinkering began.

The first day off, each student was all peppy and explored the dorms. Midoriya and Bakugo kept their distance from each other. The second day a schedule was made, who cooked when, who cleaned what, etc. The third day everything was silent. The hype over the dorms had faded in the Dual Dorm and they were beginning to work on their new inventions or plans. Meetings were held in the conference room about the most promising of their devices and how to sell them (this began on day three and continues even to today). Everyone agreed that curfew was optional, but they were all still in their dorms and asleep by eight. It was a forced habit.

The Hero Course students sometimes tried to tour the Dual Course Dorm, but sentinels that were built by the students alerted them or the hero students arrival, giving them enough time to silence everything and hide. The sentinels ranged from the dog like statues that sat outside the dorm pathways to the water proof birds that sat in the trees, giving constant surveillance over every area. Not one tree was unmarked by a sentinel. The Dual Course Dorm was the safest in the school, but only it's students and teacher knew that.

The other courses kept to themselves, so the Dual coursed students did the same. Hero and General courses would stop and stare at the noisy dorms in jealousy, but a couple of off in the distance warning barks ushered them along.

The only real trouble the Dual Classed students had was the aura that Bakugo and Midoriya created whenever they were to close to each other. A Support student from the dorm over said that she could feel something ominous coming from the south, which was where the Dual Course dorm of students Bakugo and Midoriya sat. They brought up the idea of Midoriya and Bakugo sleeping in separate rooms and then bunking together when their parents came to visit. They were shocked to see that Midoriya and Bakugo recoiled from the suggestion like it was a hot coal. 'We cannot lie to our father and mother,' Midoriya said. Bakugo blinked slowly, 'To do so would be as similar as asking for death.'

The situation was solved quickly, Maki Astuko used her quirk to create a series of nails that would act like a barrier. It was immediately written on the list of top notch inventions (she, later in life, would use these to kick start her company).

Posters that hung on their living room and conference rooms walls read 'A problem that is not solved quickly is a disaster fed by your own neglect', it meant that if they didn't solve a problem when it was presented to them, it would become a hassle later on.

The fourth and fifth day was spent with everyone in their rooms decorating. Decorations were based off of their personal interests.

For example, Takata Michi had some knives and a stuffed squirrel as part of her decorations, Murayama Masayoshi had a hat stand covered in tiny hats, Go Kame had desert cook books, and Naokao Hotaka had a wall covered in hooks with bandannas on them.

Midoriya covered his wall in book shelves, writing boards, and other learning aiding devices. Bakugo, regrettably, did the same. Their rooms mirrored each other near perfectly, this was their parents request. A list of must haves was sent to them via email. Texting was to informal.

The sixth day had them peaking out of their rooms and touring each others rooms. Doors were left wide open for this purpose.

By the seventh day everything and everyone looked as if they had lived there for years. They walked around freely and spent as much time in or out of their dorms as they wished. A garden had been developed to help the assigned chefs and save money (yes, they all had jobs). A spare computer charger booth had been set up due to the fact that Hero course students liked to borrow the Dual Classes chargers until they found their own. Most of the time this was prevented, but in the case of pestering the charger was forfeited for the sake of peace and quiet.

Ms. Yamamoto inspected their dorms at the end of the seventh day and approved of them greatly. She announced that while she was away helping her aunt it had been decided that a dorm tour had been planned by all of the other teachers excluding herself, the support class teacher Mr. Asano, who had been struck with a twenty four hour cold the day of the meeting, and the business course teacher Mr. Yoshihara Yoshinori, who had been busy on a business meeting. This meant that the Hero and General course teachers held the meeting, and the demand of their students was high.

"In two months time, there will be a dorm tour on this side of the school. Your dorm building, the Support dorm building, and the Business dorm building will be the ones being targeted. This is not optional. I hear your complaints, I do not wish for this to happen either. Nor does Mr. Asano or Mr. Yoshihara." She clapped her hands and gave them all a devilish look, "Us three will be absent for the day, so if any unfortunate things happen to happen, then we will get the blame and not you. This means that if any stray parts or 'miss functional' robots happen to stray towards the other students, then as long as no one is hurt, nothing can be done in punishment." Their teacher walked towards the exit, "You have two months to 'fix' any haywire machines."

The Dual Class students smiled, this would be fun.
