Harry(15): New Years Eve and I'm by myself you thought as you wandered around the house in search of food, everyone had gone out, you thought you were going out, you'd made plans with your best friend but then she bailed on you last minute, making you pissed, she bailed on you because her boyfriend came over. So here you were two minutes before midnight, slumped on the sofa with ice cream in your pajama's watching some chick flick that was on TV. On snapchat people were counting down, once it reached midnight you heard fireworks booming in the night sky, "Happy new year" you muttered to yourself, continuing to eat your ice cream til you fell asleep on the sofa your family came home and saw you, and instantly felt bad knowing you hadn't gone out, Harry picked you up and took you to your room where he tucked you in and kissed your forehead, just like he did when you were ten, "happy new years sweetheart" he whispered turning off the light "same to you" you whispered even though you knew he hadn't heard you.
Liam(6): "Lili!! Can I stop up til midnight?" you pleaded holding onto his leg for dear life as he waded through to the kitchen "no y/n, it's too late for you" Liam said picking you up and placing you on the island in the middle of the kitchen "I told mum and dad you'd be in bed early" so you gave your best puppy eyes, and asked again "fineeeee, you can stop up" he said giving into you, "yay" you shrieked and ran into the living room jumping up and down, happy that you finally got to see the new year begin. Liam came in the room and sat down putting on a film, an hour and a half later you were laid on Liam's lap fast asleep your thumb in your mouth and your teddy clutched tightly in your other hand, he looked down and chuckled when he heard soft snores coming from your mouth, he looked at the clock and saw it had just reached midnight, signaling the new year had begun, "happy new year sweetheart" he whispered picking you up and taking you to your room.
Louis(13): "WAKE UP Y/N" you heard Louis yell from downstairs " I'M ALREADY AWAKE" you yelled back down, you looked at your phone and read the time 12;01 "jeez, i slept for ages" you mumbled, rubbing your eyes, you didn't really make a fuss about new years, your family did, they were partying til the early hours of the morning, but to you it was just another year, you didn't understand the whole "new year, new me" bullshit, no-one ever stuck to it anyway, you walked downstairs, only to be greeted to multiple "Happy new years" you mumbled them back and went to the kitchen where your mum was sat with and cup of tea and her head in her hands "rough night eh?" you said pouring yourself a drink your yorkshire accent strong "don't go there" your mum giggled then groaned anmd gripped her head "don't ever drink on new years eve, infact don't drink at all," your mum warned " you know I will" you said, walking into the living room, and sat with Doris, Ernest and Louis "No drinking til your 18" Louis said whilst bouncing Doris on his knees, "you didn't stick to that rule" you said back "I don't know why I bother you won't listen anyway" he muttered "you know me too well" you grinned and ruffled his hair.
Niall(18): Of course being Irish and related to Niall meant you'd be getting drunk on New Years Eve, you were currently at a family party with your friend stumbling around the house, dodging drunken family members trying to find your cousin who you were going to set up with your friend (I don't know if Niall has a cousin of similar age who's a boy, but I'll roll with it) she'd liked him since forever. You walked around the house with your friend in tow, you walked into the guest bedroom only to see your cousin, already sucking faces half naked with Niall's friends girlfrien, the sight sobered you up almost imediately (don't think thats possible) and your friend ran out the room and down stairs into the back yard were she sat down crying, you set your drink down and sat next to her on the cold floor, you slung an arm around her and comforted her "It's okay he's a prick anyway" you heard people coutning down but you didn't care, your friend continued to cry into your shoulder, her make-up bound to be ruined, "Niall came out and saw you but you shooed him away, what a start to the new year you thought.
Zayn(14): You sat down next to Zayn on the sofa and groaned "eyes bigger than the belly huh?" he grinned poking your stomach, you swatted his hand away "shut up, Zayn." you said whilst moving to lay your head on his lap, when your mum walked in with a tray of chocolates "Anyone want a chocolate" she said whilst offering them round to your family you groaned when the tray got to you, "I don't think I can eat anything else" you mumbled "suit yourself, Zayn can have yours then" your mum giggled knowing what your reaction would be, you jumped up "ha, no he won't" you said whilst grabbing a few chocolates "you'll regret it later y/n" Zayn warned as you ate one, "I know I will, but it's food." you defended, Zayn just chuckled and pulled his phone snapping a picture for twitter and putting the caption "I know I'll regret it, but food is food". He was right though you regretted it later that night.
