Chapter 1

 

Hooray!!!! As I threw my graduation cap in the air, I felt like I could achieve anything. Graduation was here and my friends Jamie, Abby, and l were just soo thrilled!! The past four years at High School were memorable but I was overjoyed that I would be moving off to college.

“I can’t believe it Kylie!! We’re done with high school!!” Jamie screamed!

“I can’t either Jamie!! Where’s Abby?” I asked.

“Ohh… She’s probably off with her boyfriend.” Jamie replied. As she replied, her and I couldn’t help but to giggle. Abby and Jake were just so perfect for each other. They were alike in so many ways and were just so adorable!

As we were laughing, I was lifted off the ground by warm hands and spun around in circles. As the warm hands placed me on the ground again, I realized who it was. It was my boyfriend, Jayden. He was an only child and his parents were wealthy. He was one of the more popular kids at school but was always sweet, kind, and loving to me. We had been dating for the past 2 years.

“Hey Jay,” I exclaimed.

“Hey pumpkin!! Ready to go?” he replied.

“Um… I have to go find Zayn and my parents. I’ll be right back.”

Jamie and Jayden stayed where they were at. I ran over to Zayn and gave him a big hug.

“Zayn!! We’ve graduated!!” I yelled!

“I know!! Aren’t you excited?” he replied.

“I’m speechless! Where’s Mom and Dad?”

Our parents were fairly close. We lived next to each other and we were almost like siblings. I trusted Zayn with everything. With knowing each other since kindergarten, we’ve been through ups and downs. In the end, he’s always there for me and I’m always there for him.

After I pulled away from our hug, he gave me his beautiful smile and led me over to where our parent’s where. They were by a tree where it was giving them shade.

“Hi Mama and Dad,” I said.

“Hi sweetie,” my Mom replied.

My Mom and Dad are expecting another child. It is just me and now the new baby girl. My Mom is 7 months pregnant. Therefore, she’s pretty big. I’m very excited that they’re having another child because it always gets lonely at home. Now, when I’m away at college, they’ll have a baby to take care of. We’re still thinking of names but I’m excited to be an older sister.

My Mom asked, “What are you and Zayn doing?”

Zayn replied, “We were just coming over to say hi. I believe Kylie and Jayden are going out to get ice cream with Jamie and I. We just were coming over to let you know.”

His parents were fine with us going as were my parents. My Mom asked for us to bring back a chocolate shake for her as she was craving chocolate during her pregnancy. I’m sure the baby enjoyed the chocolate as well.

Zayn and I nodded and walked over back to where Jayden and Jamie were waiting.

“Ready?” Jayden asked.

Zayn and I replied, “Yup!!” Popping the p at the end.

Jamie and I hooked arms and walked over to Jayden’s car. Once inside the car, we put on Rihanna Where Have You Been and had a blast.
