"Oh my fucking god, I hate it here," Hyunsuk huffed.
"Hyunsuk! You can't say that, you're gonna get in trouble!"
"Listen haruto, by the time you get to be my age you stop giving shits about what people think."
"But if you get fired then how are you gonna go hit on those girls at that one café across the mall that you told me about?" Haruto said teasing him.
Hyunsuk felt himself blush and he swallowed harshly before continuing "yeah, you're right...uh anyways.. how's school going bud? "
"it's alright. it's a bit exhausting though. you know?"
"what do you mean?"
"ahh you know what never mind..." haruto sighed and rubbed his head, frustrated with himself.
"hey, whats wron-" hyunsuk began but was interrupted by a girl.
"hiii, do you think you could help me find these paris of shoes in a size 9?" she smiles shyly and holds out the shoes for him to grab. Hyunsuk is baffled but nods and tells her to take a seat while
he looks for her size.
Haruto smiles at her as he slowly walks away towards one of their standees which has a variety of shoes on display. He adjusts them slightly so that they look more presentable while singing a song that had been stuck in his head all week .
Just when he's about to finish he heard the same
tune he'd been singing but coming from outside the small shop he worked at
"Why, why, why
Why can't I be fine without you?
Just why, why, why
Just tell me, I can't do this without you"
Haruto can feel himself stop as he tries to analyze where the sound is coming from. Slowly, but surely, his eyes land on a teenage boy. The boy seems average looking from what Haruto can see but for some reason he continues to feel intrigued.
I need to go talk to him.
Haruto sets the shoe down but before he can walk out he is stopped by a group of girls.
"Hi, there. Do you work here?" Says one of them. She's shorter than the rest but seems older. Haruto nods and tries to move past them but the same girl then proceeds to grab him by his arm.
"Do you think you could help me find what I'm looking for?" She asks in a low sultry voice.
Haruto knows that if he disregards a customer he could get in big trouble. So he nods at the girl and let's her pull him by the arm as he watches the boy turn the corner and out of his sight.
