I walked towards the rusty school gate , making sure my hair covered the bruising and cuts behind my ear, as i walked on to the the school yard i preperd myself for a day of  lies. i walked into form room ten minutes late hoping mr macallun wouldn't see me .

"what lovely excuse have you got for us today ,kayden" he said not even looking up from his book

"ermm" i said not knowing what excuse i was going to use today "well you see sir.... my cat ate my alarm " mr macallun gestured for me to continue "and i had to take him to the vet but .... your not buying it are you sir" i said shaking my head.

"no sit down and your on detention" he replied with a smirk on his stupid face, so i turned around but my seat wasn't empty . A dark haired boy sat there smiling at me , his eyes were a dark blue and it took all my concentration not to get lost in them. " who are you" i said frustrated that he had stolen my seat "and why are you in my seat".

"this is your seat "he said with a grin on his face

"yes " i said annoyed

"can't you take another seat " he said in a mocking tone

i looked around the class , "there isn't no other seats " i said refusing to look at his beautiful blue eyes but before he could answer the bell rang and i stormed off to first period.

the first lesson of the day was history , basically a sit off, but when i went to sit down the boy from form was in the seat next to mine. i just glared at him as i sat down.

"hi , my name is alfie" he said offering to shake my hand. i ignored him."are you still mad at me for the whole seat thing" he asked sounding sorry.

"no" i said

"kayden!!"  the teacher yelled "why are you talking"

"ermm" i had never been caught talking , it was that stupid alfie's fault. the teacher carried on with the lesson.

it turned out i only had history  with alfie witch should of made me happy but deep down i wanted to see him more .
