In the epilogue of book 11, Luna mentions that Moonwatcher looks like Clearsight. This may just be because they are both NightWings, but what if there was more than that?
It is unknown what happened to Clearsight's parents, Swiftwings and 'father'. They could of had another dragonet who's line descended down to Moon, meaning her and Clearsight are (distantly) related.
