Part 5

Sanskar smirks at the innocent first years sitting before him.

"At last I got you all in this seperate hall, especially given by our principal sir." he says.

All the team members are there but only first year students have come.

"Before all the seniors come, let me rag you!" says Sanskar and points towards a boy.

"Come on, dance to this song." he makes that boy dance for a song.

All the students laughs but Sanskar glares at them not to laugh, they become silent.

Ragini will be biting her nails, "Please, he shouldn't look at me." she thinks. She hides behind other girl.

"Oh Laksh sir, please come soon and save us!" she thinks.

After Raging two more kids, Sanskar looks at Ragini who is trying to hide.

"hey redbus! now you come!!" he calls her. Ragini hits her head and goes on stage.

"Now you sing.. Jeene laga hoon.." he orders.

Ragini nods her head and about to sing but he stops,

"No, translate it in English and sing.." he says.

"How is it possible sir?" asks Ragini innocently and Sanskar takes book from her hand,

"Shall I tear this?"

Then Ragini starts singing,

"Iam living.. more than before.. more than before I'm dying.."

Rest all the people laughs with the funny translation.

Just then Laksh and other seniors enters the hall. They see Ragini singing.

Laksh:: what's going on? Is this is raging?

Sanskar:: no. it's just entertainment. did I rag you?

he asks to juniors.

"No sir. we were just enjoying." says juniors being scared of sanskar.

Laksh looks at Ragini in smile as she was going back to her seat. She murmurs in herself,

"This anti raging squard is just waste. it's just like police who arrive in climax after everything is over in the movies." she thinks.

There are ten members in their team. Laksh is their team leader.

"See, he is the HOD son, that's why he has become the team leader. Such a shit !" Sanskar says to a boy beside him. Ragini overhears it and amazes.

"Laksh is HOD's son?"

"Every year our college gives one project and this time this team is selected. Anyone, give any innovative ideas you have.. We shall start working on our project from day after tomorrow." says Laksh.

"Your are the team leader. you only decide." says Sanskar sarcastically.

"I'm just a team leader to lead things not to take decisions as I wish. We all are a team, and we should work together..." as Laksh was giving speech Ragini looks at him interestingly.

Ragini will be just looking at him and suddenly she feels, 'how cute he is..!'

Then she shatters her thoughts, 'No way! I'm not going to get distracted!' she thinks.

Sanskar will be looking at Laksh boringly.

"So, everyone's advice is accepted!" completes Laksh.

"Then I have a idea! Let's do project on converting sea salt water to drinking water." says Sanskar.

"That is very old concept. And so many have done that.. we won't get any award with that outdated idea.." says Laksh.

"But, none of the methods are successful! Why not we give it a try?" Sanskar raises up from his chair and looks at juniors to nod their heads to his idea.

Juniors being scared of Sanskar all agrees with Sanskar's idea. As the majority has agreed, Laksh has to go with that plan!

"I don't care if this project is a failure, I'm not the team leader why should I worry?" thinks Sanskar.

"I wish this project completes soon. So that, I can get back to my studies and get rid of this Sanskar." thinks Ragini.

There are three girls in their team and rest all are boys.

"They should have selected only boys or only girls! why girls and boys together?" Ragini asks to a girl beside her.

That girl says, "It's fun know.., see boys!! Especially, I like Laksh sir., he is so charming. Even Sanskar sir is.."

Ragini stops her, "Ok ok enough!"

'Nobody is worth for my friendship. There are no good girls here like me!' she sighs.

(Oh really Ragu!)

They are staying one hour extra after college for this project work. All the boys have bikes and one of the girl has scooty. They all leave helping each other because there are no buses available at that time. As usually, Ragini remains alone again.

"Should I walk to road everyday like this? I'm not going to attend these project classes if it's going to be like this!" she thinks just then she hears bike sound. Royal enfield bike stops beside her. It's Laksh.

"I think, you should come with me." he says.

Rag:: No sir, it's ok. I will go on my own..

Lak:: You can't walk till there. Let me drop you, come on!

Ragini sits on his bike with hesitation. This is second time. Ragini sits silently while Laksh is driving. He sometimes looks her through the mirror.

"I wish no one will see me like this. Otherwise, they will misunderstand me." she thinks.

Laksh drops her near the bus stop.

"Thank you sir." she says.

Laksh smiles and leaves. Ragini too smiles in herself and turns around to find her father looking at her who is standing in bus stop too. Ragini shocks.

"Why this should happen to me?" she thinks.
