Part 7

Ragini comes out from her shock and she thinks,
"Why to worry if he stays next to my house? He can't rag me in home!"

Sanskar acts as if he has not seen Ragini before. "You..?" he asks.

Ragini looks at him in an 'Don't act' expression and says,
"Ragini. 1st year."

Sanskar:: ohh, I'm sorry. The thing is uncle, I never observe other things than my studies. I'm always busy studying..

Shekar smiles and Ragini rolls away her eyes with his lies.

Dadi:: you are Ragini's senior know, help her in any doubts and subjects. Ragini, ask his help. Ok?

Ragini stares at Dadi in 'do your work' expression. and Sanskar smiles, 'certainly dadi' and he looks at Ragini, 'you're finished' expression.

The two families talk for sometime and they leave. Ragini gets exhausted. She goes to her room and sees a message from Laksh,

'Have you reached home?'

Ragini smiles looking at it. 'Yes sir' she replies. She feels happy that Laksh is showing concern towards her.
'Maybe he is flirting too.' her inner voice says.

'No no. He is a good guy.' thinks Ragini but again her inner voice says, 'Be careful around the boys.'

Ragini decides to listen her inner voice but her mind keeps dragging her towards Laksh. The first time in her life, she feels to talk with Laksh instead of spending time with books.

'No!! What's happening to me?" she frustrates.

Just then Janaki calls her down,
"Ragini, Sanskar is here just come once."

Ragini amazes why is he here?

Ragini goes down and finds Sanskar holding some books. He is talking with Shekar.

"Yes uncle. Ragini has asked me these books..."

'When did I ask him?' she thinks.

Shekar just goes aside as he got a phone call. Ragini smiles looking at the books.

"Thank you sir, without asking you are giving me your first year books.." when she was saying.. Sanskar cuts her,

"Oh baby, these are not first year books. These are my books. Just finish my assignments by tomorrow and give it to me. And yeah, please maintain good handwriting!" he says.

Ragini gets annoyed, "And, what will you do if I don't?"

Sanskar smiles, "Do you want to miss all your classes tomorrow because I will assign you to fill bucket with water with a spoon." he says.

Ragini silenty takes books from his hands.

"Never question a senior again!!" he says and leaves while whistling. While Ragini stares at him with her angry face.

Meanwhile, Laksh is thinking about Ragini with books before him. Annapurna sees him.
"Don't read if you don't feel to. Just go out for a walk or play something." she says.

Laksh smiles and asks her, "Mom, have you ever been in love?"

Annapurna glares at Laksh with his question. Her expression has many meanings. Laksh turns his head away smiling awkwardly that he has asked a stupid question.. no no, a dangerous question.

Later Ap and Dp sits together with Laksh at dinner. Dp then starts conversation,

"Laksh, you know.. kids don't understand the difference between attraction and love. So, never think attraction as love. We will think about your marriage, you concentrate on your studies..."

Laksh confuses, "Dad, why are you telling me that now.."

Annapurna remains calm. Laksh understands asking that question made them think like that.

They are right, he is in love. Laksh smiles in himself. But, he doesn't say that to them.

Ragini was struggling to complete Sanskar's assignments then she observes him from her window that he is enjoying and dancing to songs. Ragini gets angry. I want to tear his assignment. But, again I will get a big raging punishment.

Then she gets idea to call Laksh and tell about this. She calls his number. But, it gets a busy tone.

Annapurna was talking with her sister in Laksh's phone. He was waiting to call Ragini but sisters talking was never ending. As the busy tone keeps coming Ragini thinks that Laksh might be talking with his girlfriend.

"Does he have a girlfriend?" Ragini sighs sadly.
"Why do I have to feel sad?" she thinks again and goes back to complete assignments with no choice.

However by morning, she completes the assignments and she goes to college next day. She gives away the assignments to Sanskar.

"You have a good hand writing. I will give you my record, you should write it." he says.

Ragini hides her anger and fakes a smile. Just then she looks at Laksh and she simply ignores him while he was smiling at her. Laksh confuses.

At evening, after their project work Laksh comes to pick up Ragini, but she was already walking to road. Laksh stops bike beside her,
"Why are you walking? let's go.." he says.

"I'm not coming." she says.
"What happened to you?" he asks.
"I don't need your help." she says.
Laksh doesn't understands why Ragini is behaving like this suddenly.
"Did I do something wrong?" he asks.
"Why do you have a anti raging squad when you guys do nothing? Is your anti raging squard number is just for putting it busy all the time?" she says.

Laksh amazes.

"Did you call me yesterday?" he asks.

Ragini:: I did. But, let it be. It's over.

Laksh:: Tell me who bothered you. I won't leave them.

Ragini:: I don't need a senior to solve my problems. I will solve mine. And, I don't need a boy to give me lift. I will walk myself!!

Ragini starts walking again. Laksh pushes his bike walking behind her.

Laksh:: but Ragini, atleast tell me name of that person who ragged you.

Ragini:: why interest only on me? why don't you ask other students too?

Laksh:: is that Sanskar?

Ragini turns back at him. Ragini remembers how Sanskar made her say I love you to Laksh when she complained about him.

"Nobody" she says and starts walking. Laksh silently keeps pushing bike following her. Ragini understands that he is not going to leave her. But she keeps walking till bus stop and Laksh waits there till her bus comes.

Ragini amazes a bit as Laksh has pushed that heavy bike all the way just following her without going away and now he is waiting...

"Does he love me?" before she thinks like that her bus comes and she gets into bus and looks at Laksh. He smiles as she leaves. Ragini leans to her seat. She too smiles as the bus leaves.

Then she feels someone sat beside her.

"Hi Ragini" she hears a familiar voice. She turns to see it's Sanskar. She falls back at window shocked at once.
