It was about a week later, when Taehyung was sitting in one of the courses he had taken mainly for credit, when a sudden wave of heat washed over him. He didn't even have to check the calendar to know what it was. He was a bit early, but spending Jimin's rut with him had probably caused him to go into heat earlier this month.

He quickly gathered his things and left the classroom. Luckily the professor wasn't one of the strict ones and didn't say anything.

On his way back to their shared apartment he sent a message to their group chat.

Taehyung
I'm going into heat

Jimin
Wait I thought your heat was due in two weeks?

Jungkook
I'm gonna go grocery shopping

Taehyung
Yeah it should have been due in two weeks

Jungkook
Anything I should get?

Taehyung
Your rut properly triggered it

Taehyung
Maybe some ice cream?

Jimin
I'm so sorry>.<

Jungkook
I'll get some snacks

Jungkook
And icecream

@Jimin it isn't your fault

We've decided to spend your rut with you

And I'm not gonna lie and say I didn't enjoy it because I did

Spending three days constantly cuddling with your boyfriends... there are way worse ways to spend your day

Taehyung smiled, reading the message as he unlocked the door to their apartment. Were they going to do more this time? They had had this conversation already... whatever happened happened.

He closed the door behind himself and locked it. He was feeling way too hot right now. At least he wasn't producing slick yet... god, he really wasn't a fan of heats but maybe it would be better this time. He had two alphas to take care of him. The mere thought made his omega part scream with joy.

Hopefully everything would go well without them getting too competitive. That was one of the biggest issues with alphas around an omega in heat. Everything turned into a competition. But he couldn't really imagine that with Jungkook. After all the boy never seemed to struggle with his pride as an alpha.

He had to be the most relaxed alpha Taehyung had ever seen.

He dropped his backpack by the door before moving to his bed. This was going to be quite the rough heat. He could already tell simply by how quickly his body was changing right now. Usually he'd feel a bit off for at least a day before the heat really hit him, but judging from the way he felt right now he had at most a few hours until he went fully into heat.

Quickly he gathered the extra blankets and cushions from his wardrobe. Luckily Jimin and Jungkook's scents were deeply embedded in his bed. After all they had spent the whole night here. They usually did, unless there was a big exam coming. Theoretically each of them had their own apartment... but somehow the one Taehyung owned had become the one they all lived at.

They had never bothered buying a second bed. None of them really had an issue with sharing Taehyung's king sized bed. Not when it forced them to cuddle up to one another.

"I'm home!" Taehyung was in the process of adjusting the blankets on his bed, building a comfortable nest for them all to sleep in, when Jimin's voice echoed through the apartment. A small wave of relief washed over him at the prospect of his alpha being home. His focus shifted away from the bed as the door opened and Jimin entered. "How are you?"

Taehyung instantly made his way over, burying his face in Jimin's shoulder before sighing softly. The scent helped soothe the pain that was slowly gathering in his stomach. "It's okay for now."

When Jimin moved his hand up to run his fingers through Taehyung's hair, pressing soft kisses to the side of his neck where Taehyung's scent gland was, he couldn't help but keen, baring his throat... asking for more.

Jimin gave him exactly that, softly biting down on the spot. It made sparks dance in Taehyung's field of vision, his whole body relaxing. His alpha was here to take care of him.

"I'll go make some dinner, okay?" Jimin whispered softly, his hand brushing over Taehyung's waist.

Just for a second Taehyung gave in to weakness, shaking his head. "Don't want you to leave."

Jimin chuckled, pulling back before pressing a soft peck to Taehyung's cheek, then nose and then, finally, lips. "I'll need to make some dinner... you could come with me. Jungkook will be here soon anyways... he could help you build your nest."

His inner omega jumped in happiness at the thought of having Jungkook be there as they built their nest. He could ask him to scent everything... and maybe get him to give Taehyung the clothes he was wearing...

And Jimin. "If you want to make food you'll have to pay a clothes tax. Give me everything but your underwear."

Jimin looked down at his body, then back up at Taehyung, raising an eyebrow. "Really?"

Taehyung nodded insistently. "Really. It's not like it's cold anyways."

A soft sigh left Jimin's lips but he actually obeyed, slipping out of his jeans and wide hoodie. And then his t-shirt. Maybe Taehyung wasn't horny from the heat yet, but seeing Jimin like this certainly did something to him. He was wearing black boxers that hugged everything perfectly.

Didn't leave much to imagination either. And then there was Jimin's perfectly sculpted torso.

"You look amazing." His words came out as nothing but a whisper as he moved forward and buried his face in Jimin's shoulder again. The naked body against him felt right. It made Jimin's scent so much more intense. And it gave him better access to the juncture of Jimin's neck.

Jimin giggled. "Thank you." He pressed a kiss to Taehyung's cheek. "Now let me prepare food, it really would be bad if your heat started before we can prepare food for the next couple of days."

Taehyung grumbled, but he did let go of Jimin again. Maybe telling Jimin to give him his clothes had been a bad idea after all. It made it hard not to touch.
