Chapther 1

I slightly open the door of Doldam Hospital. Who would have tought that I would end up here. I have been in many places and done a lot of things, but never in my life would I had imagined that I would come here, Doldam, out of all the places. Who am I? Well I'm a superhero... kinda. I save lives, no matter who they are, what they've done or where they come from. As long as they get to me, I'll do everything I can to save them. I'm a doctor of general surgery. My name, Seo Jane Eileen. Yes I know, it doesn't sound very korean but my parents really liked those names so here I am, Jane Eileen. But most of my friends just call me Jane for short, it's easier and faster. I worked before in Haesung Hospital but after one tradical turn of events I left the hospital. I've been just enjoying life and traveling for about a year. But now I've come back. Unfortunately I couldn't go back to Haesung and had to come to Doldam. I step in the lobby of Doldam Hospital. At first glance there doesn't seem to be anyone here. I go to the reception desk and there is a man sitting behind the table with earphone in his ears.

" Hello, I'm dr Seo Jane Eileen and I have been assigned to work here"

Looks like he didn't hear me. I guess we have to do it the hard way. I slam my hand with a lound bang to the desk and yell:

 " I'M DOCTOR SEO JANE EILEEN AND I'HAVE ASSIGNED TO WORK IN YOUR HOSPITAL!!"

Now he saw and heard me. He quickly takes his earphones off and smiles to me.

" Oh , I didn't notice you coming in. I'm Manager Jang of Doldam Hospital. Welcome. Let me guide you to the staff room and introduce you to everyone."

He guides me to the staff room. Time to look professional Jane, don't make a fool of youshelf.

"Everyone attention. I'd like to introduce you our newest member of doldam Hospital, dr. Seo Jane Eileen of General Surgery." Manager Jang introduces me to the people in the room. Some quiet hellos come from here and there.

" Hello, I'm Seo Jane Eileen. I hope we will get along." I introduce myshelf shyly.

After everyone quietly leave the room and I'm left alone unpacking. Suddenly a man jumps in front of me and hold out his hand

" Hello, I'm Jeong In-soo. I'm the an emergency medicine specialist. The ruler of ER. I'm so glad that I have a new comrade with me now. Nice to meet you!"

"Hello I'm Jane Eileen but You can call me Jane. I'm a general surgeon"

" Well then if you are ready let's go to ER and meet everyone else and I could show you our hospital."

I follow In-soo to the ER. It's much smaller that I'm used to and calmer as well. There are not many people at this moment.

"Everyone this is Jane Eileen, she will be working with us form today. Jane this is our head nurse ms. Oh" he point toward older woman with a strict face.

" And these are Uhm Hyun-jung and Joo Young-mi, our emergency room nurses." he points to a two women, they seem similar with my age.

" Next we have Park Eun-tak, he works as a nurse and is, like everyone likes to say, the handsome face of Doldam Hospital" he says pointing to a young man around my age.

No wonder that everyone says he is the face of the hospital. He's indeed very handsome. Some other doctors walk in that time. In-soo introduces me to them all as well, although i did see them in the staff room earlier. And that time walks in the man that I have been wanting to see, yet being afraid at the same time. He overpowers the entire hospital with his presence. The one and only Master Kim. And the moment he notice me standing there, he stops and stays still. It feels like the time has stopped.
