2. Beginning

Hanbin entered the studio where he and Bobby work for their song. He approached Bobby who was looking to his phone. Hanbin was about to greet him but he stopped as he realized what Bobby was doing.

"Just ask for her number, seriously hyung" Hanbin said to Bobby who is smiling so earnestly while looking to his phone. Even without looking to Bobby's phone screen Hanbin knew right away that Bobby was watching Jisoo's youtube from his lovestruck smile.

"Somi is probably going to go to her radio show, just ask her a favor." Hanbin continued. Somi is an artist under their label, she just had her comeback so she's probably going to go to Jisoo's radio show to promote her song. Hanbin thought that it could be used as an opportunity for Bobby to get Jisoo's phone number.

"No way, how would I introduce myself? Anyeonghaseyo, I'm the no name producer Kim Bobby??"

"Yah why would you be a no name producer? Just say that you're the one who produced Somi's comeback song. That's a good set up already." Hanbin said back.

Bobby doesn't seem to be convinced yet, he put his phone down and moved closer to the computer to get back to work as Hanbin already arrived. "Should I?" he chuckled.

It didn't took long for the two to get focused on their work. Soon they forgot how much time has passed and got drowned in the music they're making. Hanbin was experimenting with the beat when his stomach growled, reminding him to take a break. They decided to went out instead of ordering delivery this time to get refreshed and probably get some inspiration for their song.

Bobby looked outside the restaurant's window as he already finished his food. There's nothing much to see though, just a dark night sky with no star. His mind thought about the billboard on the way to the restaurant earlier, the bright board was announcing an audition for a survival show. Yes, it was Show Me The Money, the hip hop survival show that was mentioned in Jisoo's radio show that Bobby watched a few days ago.

"Hanbin-ah," Bobby said, breaking the silence. "I miss performing on stage."

Hanbin felt the longing in Bobby's words and he fully understands that. He was also there with Bobby when they were still actively perform on the underground stages. Even though he loves producing music more than anything else, sometimes he also miss being on stage.

"I'm thinking about doing Show Me The Money" Bobby continued.

"Hm? For real hyung?" Hanbin wondered. "Why don't just go perform on the underground stage? I mean, there's a lot of pressure there."

"I think I want to know for sure if I should go back to perform or just continue to focus as a producer. So it's like umm... to test myself out there. if I managed to be good enough on the show, I think I want to be a performer again" Bobby said seriously.

For Hanbin, he always know that producing music is what he loves the most. Just now, he remembered that Bobby might not be the same with him. He then remembered how bright Bobby was shining back then on the stage, and most importantly, how bright Bobby was smiling back then.

"Then go, hyung!" Hanbin finally said with a meaningful smile on his face.

Bobby grinned at his reliable friend. He was so grateful that he has Hanbin as his friend and coworker. They match like a beer and a chicken.

"But I want you to go too" Bobby said lightly.

"Eh??" Hanbin got shocked for the second time. "Why?"

"I'm sure you're also missing the stage at some point. You can just have fun without any pressure, you know?" Bobby paused to have drink. "And I just want to have some sort of support on that scary survival show hahaha."
