"Unnie, you're not going to upload this on your youtube channel, are you?" Jennie said to Jisoo as she watched herself rapping on Jisoo's laptop.
"Oh, that's actually a good idea." Jisoo said before she laughed as Jennie smacked her shoulder.
"Hajimaa, don't do it unnie, seriously."
"But I've been running out of idea for my youtube content. I need a catchy content! Come on, let me use it as a return for helping you practicing your rap, please..." Jisoo said with her puppy eyes.
"Andwae! And it's not like you mentored me or what, I'm just borrowing your camera, unnie." Jisoo said sternly with her eyes still focused monitoring her own rap on Jisoo's laptop.
"No, you also borrowed my laptop, my studio, my... and my time! And I even managed to get you mentored by the previous winner! I was completely throwing my pride when I begged him after he came to my radio show!"
"Eii, it didn't even took him a second to say yes to your request. He's completely fallen for you, unnie." Jennie denied.
"I can already imagine the video's title. Jennie's Secret to Win Show Me The Money! How is it? So I'm your secret of succession! You're winning because of me who let you practice in my studio!" Jisoo continued excitedly and proudly over nothing since Jennie hasn't win yet. The audition hasn't even begin.
"That's exactly why I don't want you to upload it, unnie. Because it'd be really humiliating if I turn out to do badly on the show. What if I don't even pass the first audition? Argh unnie I'm getting anxious again just thinking about it." Jennie looked to Jisoo to find comfort for her anxiety.
"Don't worry, Jen. Your skill is nothing to worry about. You just have to be confident. Just think of it as your monthly evaluation back when you're still a trainee." Jisoo said reassuring Jennie and hugged her.
Jennie didn't say anything and only hugged Jisoo in silent, relishing herself in the comfort of her friend's arms to ease the anxiety away.
"So, Jennie-ya. I can upload it, right? Kekeke. I'll only upload it after the show air and only if you turn out to do well on the show. How is it?" Jisoo asked again carefully, still not able to let a good content go.
"Fine, only after it air and only if I turn out to do well, okay?"
"Assaa! That's my Jendeukie! Now you really have to do well!! Ppalli! Back to practice so I can have a good content!! Kekekeke." Jisoo said jokingly to raise Jennie's mood and energy back.
Jennie got up and continued to practice her rap in a serious mode. She listened to her own rap after every take and took note on which part that still needs to be improved and how to improve it. She also carefully examined her gesture and expression on camera because it matters just as much for a performance.
Meanwhile, Jisoo was busy editing her videos for her youtube channel. She could hire a video editor but she thought 'why spend money when she can do it by herself and still have time for it'. But sometimes when she got booked with a lot of job, be it tv show or commercial, she'd pay for an editor to handle one or two of her videos.
After a while of editing, Jisoo craved for some sweets and decided to take a break. She went to the kitchen to take a can of biscuit and a carton of milk to bring to the studio. Jennie who saw what Jisoo brought in immediately lightened up and put down her pen and notes.
"Unnie. I think Mino Oppa was seriously liking you. When he mentored me last time, he literally asked my opinion to approach you, unnie." Jennie said after she sipped her milk. Mino was the winner of SMTM (Show Me The Money) season 2 that became a guest on Jisoo's radio show and was asked by Jisoo to mentor Jennie.
"Ah molla, I don't really feel anything towards him." Jisoo said uninenterested.
"But he's really popular, kekeke, he is the winner of SMTM season 2, unnie! The whole Korea knows him!"
"I'll just date the winner of SMTM season 3 then."
"What do you mean?" Jennie confused, since SMTM season 3 hasn't start yet, it was the one that Jennie wanted to participate in.
"You. You're going to be the winner, right? Kekeke" Jisoo said satisfied with her own line.
"Eiiy, unnie I'm straight!" Jennie hit Jisoo's shoulder. "Unnie. Back to Mino Oppa. Aside from his popularity, he also has at least one out of your two ideal type criteria."
"Hm? You think he has a pretty smile?" Jisoo said with a biscuit in her mouth.
"Well, I don't know about your definition of 'pretty smile', but he is completely fallen for you, right? Isn't that your criteria? For him to be completely into you?" Jennie explained.
"Hmmm" Jisoo thought and swallowed the biscuit in her mouth before continuing, "I still have someone who've fallen for me more than that." Jisoo smiled as he remembered her fan.
"Who?" Jennie wondered
"My number one fan." Jisoo grinned.
"Ah.. that fan." Jennie nodded. "Hmm, I should've told Mino oppa to write a poem just like that fan of yours."
"I really like the messages from this fan. It's like a lyric of a song. Sometimes I feel like I could hear a song when I read it."
"But why haven't you read his messages on the radio show? He'd be really happy if you do." Jennie asked.
"Well, it doesn't really suits the mood, isn't it? To suddenly read a long-poem-like-message on a radio show. But you're right, I think he'd be really happy. I should think of a way to mention him on the radio show someday."
"Yes, unnie, read the message from... what was his ID name again?" Jennie tried to remember the ID of Jisoo's number one fan.
"Yeonnam-dong Cutie." Jisoo answered with a wide smile on her face. Thinking about her fan never fails to make her smile.
