In Due Time

Lizzy POV:

"Lizzy Jones" I heard my name while people screamed and cheered as I walked across the stage to receive my diploma. The one that stood out the most was my dad, Ja'Vante, Jazz, and Jaydon.

"Lizzy has an outstanding 4.1 GPA average, great citizenship, and has received the "Best Actress" and "Most Performances" award. Give her a hand!" The man said as I took the diploma in my hand and shook his hand with my other while they took a picture.

I went and sat down as they called the others. After the incident with Jazz and Dashawn, we had to take a break to get use to it. We all eventually met up and apologized so we cool now. Dashawn even personally apologized to one of us so we still iffy with him.

As they called Jazzy and Ja'Vante and Jaydon up I decided to go all out. So I stood up screaming and whistling while cheering and jumping seeing their faces go red. People around me looked at me like I was crazy but I gave them a mug and sat down.

When they came off the stage they flicked me off as they sat down while I laughed. After a while, they called Dashawn up as thots did a standing ovation like he was a God or something. I clapped to show my acknowledge.

After an hour more of them calling other people I care less about, we all stood as people got ready to throw their caps in the air, indicating the end of their school career. "People of Dangum High, the time has come! The time to actually celebrate 12 hard years of working towards success!! This is your time to say we have made it! This is not the end, this is only the beginning of your lives!! Conquer the responsibility that lies ahead of you! Take care of yourselves! THIS IS THE CLAS OF 2015!!!!" The woman yelled into the microphone as "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" boomed filling the arena like place as people cheered and threw their caps up in the air.

I held onto mines because I didn't want to pick up another's cap that has lice in it. I walked over to Ja'Vante as he embraced me filling me in his scent. I felt him kiss my forehead as we pulled away and looked over at Jazzy.

You couldn't see her pudge threw her gown but if she wasn't wearing her gown, you could see it tryna pop out. She was officially one month pregnant. Dashawn took her to all her appointments, bought her food, and made sure she was good before he left.

He didn't try nothing on her, didn't try to make a move on her, nothing. They made small talk about the baby, but other then that,  it was silence. Jaydon got so worried about Jazzy, he started a search party but I told him where she was and he quickly canceled it.

She sent me a message that night about her whereabouts and apologized about her blaming us. I walked over and carefully hugged her hen rubbed her stomach as her face flushed red. I hugged Jaydon as he walked over and kissed Jazz's cheek.

Oh yea, after he found out where she was, he went over there with baby supplies immediately winning Jazz back. He even spent the night and met her parents. Dashawn met her parents also, they weren't happy but they accepted the situation because it wasn't in their hands.

Dashawn walked over giving Jazz a hug and rubbed her stomach quickly before giving Jaydon a head nod and Jaydon returned the nod. "So where we finna go, cause a bitch hungry!" Jazz blurted out causing me to laugh.

"I can take y'all to Chilli's, I'm paying?" Dashawn asked us. "That would be nice, we can meet up at my house, change and head over there." I suggested as everyone agreed.

We made our way out the arena like area meeting my dad by the food stand. I gave him a kiss on the cheek startling him. "Why you ain't throw y'all hats up?" My dad asked us.

"Because some of them bit- I mean people got lice in they head." Ja'Vante explained after I hit him in the head for almost cussing. We may cuss, but we don't cuss in front of our elders, cause that's just rude.
