Sowwy it's been a while...
Eric 3rd
Eric had grown tired of his book after a while and had the suddenly had a craving for some warm gooey chocolate chip cookies. He loved to bake, so acquiring cookies wouldn't be a problem for him. He found that when he was sad, cookies always helped.
He dragged himself out of bed groggily and walked down to the kitchen. To his surprise, it was eerily quiet in the house.
Eric called out, "Hello? Is anyone home?"
He received no response as the house stayed quiet. Eric swore he heard his voice echo, it was so quiet.
He shrugged it off assuming the boys went out to play quidditch again.
He went over to turn on the radio and the Weird Sisters were playing. Eric had gotten into them one summer when Steve came back from Hogwarts. He turned it up loud enough so that he wouldn't be able to hear too much of his bad singing.
He put on his 'Worlds Best Dad' apron that Cal had gotten him 3 years ago and started prepping the oven and the dough.
10 minutes later, Eric was already feeling much better as the dough was in little balls on the pan. He had taken his baker's cut of dough and was feeling very good about how they would turn out. When he was a kid, his mum would always let him eat a bit of the cookie dough as a reward.
He shoved the cookies in the oven and set the timer.
After just two minutes of sitting and thinking, Eric got bored and decided that he wanted to play some video games.
He went upstairs to his son's room and fished out the GameBoy from under his pillow. He had a feeling it would be there knowing Callum.
He took it downstairs so that he wouldn't get distracted and forget that he had something baking and accidentally burn the house down. He sat on the couch for a while and noticed the smell of cookies wafting through the house. Knowing that they would be done soon, he walked into the kitchen and poured himself a glass of milk to accompany the cookies when they were ready.
He started dancing around the kitchen while he waited.
A few minutes later, the oven beeped just as Steve and Callum magically appeared in front of the house.
Steve 3rd
As soon and Steve arrived back home with Callum, he smelt cookies. His eyes opened wide with glee as he opened the door. Callum walked in behind him smiling at his dad whose mouth was watering.
As he walked in, Steve followed the delightful smell of cookies into the kitchen and behind Eric who was taking them out of the oven.
He hugged him from behind, scaring Eric as the pan went flying into the air. The music had been so loud that Eric didn't hear the boys come in.
"OH FECK!" screamed Eric as the pan flew through the air.
"Oh dear, I've done it again haven't I? " though Steve.
Luckily he was faster this time and caught them with the Immobulus spell before they could hit the floor.
Also luckily, Eric was not mad about this one because nothing and no one was harmed and to be fair, he was just trying to be sweet.
Eric POV
I was just going to take the plate of cookies for myself in my room, but Steve's impeccable timing kinda messed that up so we all sat on the couch eating cookies and watching telly. Callum was between us since we were still a little tense but it was nice nonetheless. I was finding it very hard to keep up the mad act and kept looking over at Steve. I feel like he knew I was looking at him but he never acknowledged it thankfully or it would have been awkward.
