Callum 3rd

BAMM!

Callum awoke with a start. Smoke filled the room, the smell so bad, it was like Satan was clawing at his nostrils.

He shot up and ran out the door as fast as he could.

Once the smoke cleared outside of the room, Callum was faced with his sniggering uncle.

Ricky had set off a dung bomb in Callum's room!

Callum ran to the shower to wash away the stink. Living with pranksters, Callum had learnt that if you don't take a shower immediately after getting bombed, the smell will linger for days.

Ricky was still cracking up outside. No amount of pranks would ever satisfy his soul. He always liked to make a scene whenever had company over.

That's what happens when you hang out with the Marauders.

Callum had just gotten out of the shower and face red with anger, marched over to Ricky and punched him in the arm.

Ricky just kept laughing even harder because of how weak the punch was. Cal was never much of a fighter unless he was invested in a game.

"Bloody hell Ricky! What was that for?!" Exclaimed Callum.

Ricky was laughing too hard to register that Callum had used that language. To be fair, he probably wouldn't have cared either way; he was the cool uncle.

"Just jokes son, just jokes," he replied. "It's the McMillan way. Best get used to it ya know cos I won't be stopping anytime soon."

Callum rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Eric 3rd

Eric woke up wrapped up in Steve's warm embrace. They had fallen asleep in each other's arms after a long day at the lake.

He smiled at the sight of his husband sound asleep without a care in the world.

Eric took this opportunity to prepare breakfast. After all, Steve had done so much for him already this weekend that he felt he should return the favour.

He looked in the cupboards to see if there was any flour left. He took out an empty bag of flour that Callum must have used to bake the cake.

"Well there won't be pancakes this morning," Eric said quietly to himself.

After throwing away the empty bag, he looked in the fridge to see if there were any eggs. Luckily, Callum hadn't used them all. He also found ham, cheese, and spinach. Surprisingly, Steve liked spinach.

Eric decided that he was going to make his famous omelettes (he stole the recipe from Remus when he and Sirius came over last year).

When he was done, Steve still hadn't woken up.

'He must have been really tired after last night' Eric thought. He chuckled to himself.

He walked to the room and saw that Steve was still indeed asleep. Eric wasn't much of a prankster, but even he could tell that this was a perfect opportunity.

He tiptoed slowly toward the bed where his victim lay, and after contemplating it one more time, he jumped on top of Steve with a roar.

"OOOHHHHHOHOHOHO" Steve grunted in pain.

Eric rolled off laughing. He had to admit; that felt good. Now he knew why people liked pranking.

"You... You..." Stuttered Steve, trying to come up with the best insult, "you PRAT...MUPpet...ᵍⁱᵗ. All of the above for you!" He said finally, trying to stifle his laugh.

Eric laughed even harder. He knew that Steve could never truly insult him. He was too in love with him.

Defeated, Steve got up out of bed and started downstairs to make breakfast only to realise that there was already a plate waiting for him with a glass of pumpkin juice.

He turned to Eric and gave him a warm smile. After a few bites, he had a strange expression on his face.

"Isn't this Remus's recipe? I recognise his culinary brilliance anywhere" he said with his posh voice.

"Yeah, you're right," Eric said, "I stole the recipe last year when they came over. It was too good to forget."

Remus Lupin and Sirius Black were good friends of Steve and Eric being the few queer people they knew. They knew they could always talk to each other about the things they had to go through in life. Aside from that, Steve had helped the Marauders with their pranks when they were kids.

While they ate, Steve told Eric some stories from his time at Hogwarts. He loved to hear about his magical adventures when he was a kid because it drew his mind away from his boring Muggle school. Things had not changed over the years and Eric would still listen intently to stories that he probably had already heard.

After a while, it was about time to head back home, so Steve sent a message through his Patronus to Ricky that they were on their way home and they would like their child back if he pleases. And with that, the couple went to the front of the lake house to apparate back home.

A/N Some things to note: Sirius and Remus have custody over Harry because Sirius was cleared. The Dursley blood protection situation that caused Harry to have to go there originally has been solved by Harry having to go to the Dursleys for a few weeks in the year. My thought is that since they're not the primary caretakers, that they wouldn't be as bothered as they were originally. Also they're a bit scared of Sirius and Remus so they don't dare mess with Harry. Plus they go over daily to play or whatever.
