.................

Quiet chatter echoes through the small white building. The young man with the innocent amethyst eyes scans the room, a slight tinge of last minute anxiety resonating inside of his core. Not from his feelings towards his fiancé, of course. Him being fully confident in his love for MC. Mitsunari is smitten for the beautiful, brilliant person he waits for to walk down the aisle.

This feeling was about his own personal self-doubt. A previously pushed back thought that now shines brighter than before. The idea of their unspoken possible doubt in him, makes his stomach churn. It's not that they ever didn't prove their love for him as well, but when put in a certain situation of vulnerability, It's only natural to feel nervous. At least, that's what Hideyoshi, his best man, told him before heading to the ceremony. Taking a deep breath in, he relaxes his subconsciously tense shoulders and focuses on a specific flower in the room.

A single white Lilly, the flower reminding him of an event from only nine months ago.

He waits quietly in the brisk forest, small white snowflakes falling from the light blue sky. The beauty of the terrine being especially breathtaking around this time of year. There's a few large dark trees that surround the area, snow covering the now dampened branches. He has lit candles in glass lanterns leading to and around the scene, his figure standing in the middle of it all, with the same precious flower in hand. Inside of the petals is a small and simple ring he hopes she will love. In winter, everything is quiet, everything seems peaceful, things begin to calm down. He wanted this proposal to be magical, and did research to see what the most romantic season is from different sources.

Never before did he think he would ever want marriage. Love was never in his plans, being set to the side for the longest time. Until he met them, the person with the kind heart who makes him think things he's never thought before. Someone who he knew from even their first outing that they were going to be the one he will cherish for eternity.

A sound snaps him out of his train of thought, ice crunching at a slow pace coming his way. His heart rate rises, the thump of the muscle booming in his chest, the motion so strong he can hear it. Mitsunari's teeth sink into his bottom lip as he kneels down...

The memory plays in his head and he is brought to ease. They said yes then, and nothing will change their feelings now. His lips curl up in the corners as he holds his hands behind his back loosely. Confident in his lover, he waits for the music to change signaling them walking down the aisle. Everyone in the pew goes silent as the wedding truly begins. His hidden hands figit behind him as the other people in the wedding make their way through. Although he is feeling impatient, he stays still, smiling angelically at everyone who passes. When the music changes, he holds his breath. Everyone sitting turns around, and he looks straight forward at the gates. He sees them in the distance. Their silhouette coming closer and closer. He pushes u his glasses, their beauty taking his breath away. Mitsunari feels his love for them bloom in his chest, his vision starts to smear in a blur. But he brings a finger to his face, he needs to watch them walk down the aisle, he needs to remember this moment clearly for all of eternity. They come closer, eyes meeting as they release a small smile. A smile that makes him feel warm all over. As they turn to stand in front of him, dressed to utter perfection, he resists the urge to embrace them right there. Seeing them as an ethereal creature directly from the heavens above. The minister begins to speak, but he tunes out the beginning. Too distracted by the beauty in front of him. Grabbing their hand, he strokes it tenderly, mouthing the phrase "I love you" softly. He and his lover can't stop smiling.

After exchanging rings and vows, he brings MC close, his arms wrapping around their waist. He runs his hand up their back soothingly- his lips meeting theirs. A gentle kiss better than any other is shared. Their hands cradle Mitsunari's face, both of their eyes are closed, each savoring the magical moment. Everyone cheers out for the two, even Ieyasu claps gently in the back of the room. Mitsunari reluctantly pulls away, knowing in front of anyone he can't go any further. As he looks at his now, spouse, the love in his eyes shine bright for only them. From this day forward, they hold a new kind of love, completely conjoined forever.
