Ultrasound CH.7

(Virgil POV)

I was on my way to get an ultrasound with Logan, he said he'd be willing to drive me to places if I needed help. My stomach was rather big, it seemed a lot bigger than I thought it'd be.

When we got there, Logan helped me out of the car and we walked inside. We waited for a little while before going back as I laid down on the bed chair thing and the doctor started to ask a few questions and I answered the best I could. "Now, this might feel a little cold." The doctor said as they put a cold gel on my stomach which earned a slight shiver from me.

I watched the device move around my stomach before it landed on two growing babies. "Twins." The doctor said happily as me and Logan seemed to freeze a little. I couldn't really get my head around it at the moment, I mean two babies...more room for mistakes...more room for failure..more room for something to go wrong. It was scary..

After the ultrasound, Logan took me to tell Patton and Roman what happened. I was quiet, thinking about what would happen. "Virgil? You're very quiet.." Logan said walking inside, which snapped me back to reality for awhile. "Oh..? Yeah just...thinking.." I nodded a little. "About what we saw? Virgil I can assure you that it's going to be okay.." he nodded before putting a gentle hand on my cheek.

"But...something could go wrong.." I mumbled under my breath as Logan walked through the door. I saw Patton and Roman sitting on the couch talking before coming over to us. "So how'd it go? Is everything going okay?" Patton asked looking to me and Logan. "Well...it's going good! Nothing's wrong but uh...there's more..than one...baby.." I said softly as I could see Patton and Roman's face get excited and light up.

"Oh my goodness! That's amazing!" Roman said quickly but very carefully hugging me. "Woah-!" I wasn't ready for the hug as I chuckled a little. "I'm glad you two are so happy-" Logan gave a small and quiet chuckle at my comment and started to listen to Patton excitedly talk. "I can't believe it! Twins!" Roman said excitedly.

"Yeah- It's a little scary to me.." I nodded as Roman kissed my cheek. "I understand..but at least you don't have to take care of them alone." He nodded and smiled his warm smile. I nodded a little and smiled a little before one of the babies kicked which made me set a hand on my stomach. I guess Roman had also felt the kick because he put a hand on my stomach and felt another kick. "Pat! Lo! C'mere!" He said quickly.

I sighed and chuckled a little before watching the other two come over and take turns to put a hand on my stomach. They all seemed excited to feel the kicks which I couldn't help but smile from.
