He walked towards her, his eyes set on her luscious long red locks that traced her figure. His sweaty hands started to shake uncontrollably as he got closer and closer to her. It’s almost as she had her own warmth and everything around couldn’t help but me bubbly and happy. He heard her giggling now. He almost chocked, even her laugh was beautiful. He couldn’t help but think about what he was going to say, and how he was going to say it. He finally reached her, and stretched his long lanky arm towards her.
Someone tapped on her shoulder, she turned around to see bright electric blue eyes behind big black framed glasses. She smiled warmly at the boy. He seemed almost frozen in her presence, but he was beautiful. His black hair was messy on top of his head but seemed as soft as the clouds themselves. She carefully surveyed him, her eyes roaming his body. He was freakishly tall compared to her short standing. He was so beautiful, she thought over and over.
“Hey,” he said meekly.
“Hi,” she chirped.
Sometimes that’s all it takes for two people in this world to fall in love. And gosh, fall in love they did. The red haired girl and the blue eyed boy got to know each other like their lives depended on nothing else but that. They knew each other secrets, hobbies, favorites, and fears. Everything and anything that could be thought of, they shared. It was beautiful what they had and nobody could deny that. The love they felt for each other was beautiful. The way he held her hands tight as if he was afraid she’d disappear and the way she squeezed back tighter to let him know that she wasn’t going anywhere. The way they kissed wasn’t lust, it was passion and desire. She held his face and kissed his neck because she loved the warmth of his skin. Everything was nothing but beauty in their eyes, as long as they held one another at night things were complete and eternal.
You know what’s the sad part about love? Sometimes it consumes you so much that it becomes all you think, all you breathe, and all you do. And when it’s gone, you break in a way never imagined possible.
When he lost her, his whole world shattered like broken glass. His legs gave out and by then he was on his knees, holding his head, and sobbing her name.
They took her away from him. He looked and looked for hours, days, and months. She was gone, and never coming back. He held his chest so tightly trying hold in the air that was attempting to escape. He couldn’t breathe anymore, not without her warm hands holding his at night. Not without her brown eyes sparkling looking at him. His sobbed filled their empty house, and his empty heart. He was drowning without her. She was his person and without her the beauty of the world left. It left him cold and bitter and hateful.
“Why her? God, why would they take her?” he sobbed into his hands, “Please, please, be okay. Please, please be okay, and I love you. I love you so much. Where ever you are please be okay because I love you. You need to be okay because you are beautiful and my existence depends on you. My heart is heavy baby, please you need to be okay.”
The red haired girl was never found and the boy‘s heart inflamed with pain and sooner rather than later burst. He sobbed and sobbed and sobbed until eventually his sorrow gave out. The poor blue eyed boy drowned that day. He drowned almost the way you fall into love, slowly and then all at once.
