Life on the Farm

Chapter two

      Life is good on the farm, but the knowledge of nancy and her crew is always on everyones minds. There have been improvements to the farm, and Max, and Sam are beginning to understand there abilities a little bit better. Saif has his first real TSE, and has not returned yet. Little Rose, The Cherokee who returned with Sam and Max on their last TSE, has adapted to the modern world rather easily, she has become a great asset to the Thirteen, the group of the world's top military experts, who utilize her as a tracker. Even though Sam is new to the whole Time travel thing, having just found out that she even had the ability, has begun to have the lucid dreams and everyone at the Farm is worried that she will soon be having full blown events. With a state of the art research lab built under ground at the farm, Jen, Max's mom and resident expert on Time travel, is finally able to do her research while she gets too know her son, and his freinds. Jen is close to discovering the drug used to control the TT cells effects, she has been secretly giving it to Max and he hasn't had a TSE since returning from the past with Little Rose. So far in her research with Max and the drug there has not been any side effects she knows about, or at least that he has complained about, all Max has done is complain about not having any TSE's which is what she is trying to protect him from. 

Jen, Anne, Max, Sam and Evan are all sitting around the table trying to eat dinner, Mrs. Wallace is outside barking orders to her soldiers and letting loose with one profanity after another. Anne is getting really frustrated because it is her job to give the kids some sense of normal life, and the military compound that busses around them seems never to want to let that happen. The group struggles through eating and sit with full bellies laughing and talking when the front door bursts in. 

"Get a table cleared in the med center. Now!" Mrs Wallace and Angus demand in unison.

Jen is on her feet and rushing to open doors while the other two drag what seems like a lifeless, bloody body into the med center that was once the panic room.

"Who was that?" asks Sam.

"I think it was Saif" Replies Max.

"God I hope not," Declares Anne.

Angus appears back into the kitchen and lets the two of them work to save the boys life, He grabs a towel to wipe the blood from his hands, and his clothes, It seems like blood is everywhere. Angus is adamant about getting the blood off him and even though Anne was at first upset he chose her good towel to clean himself up with, she could recognize that he had a problem which was deeper than just a bloody towel, even if it was embroidered.

"Saif has finally returned but is babbling incoherent, and speaking Japanese for some reason, he looks like hell," He explains.

"He has been gone for over two weeks," Max replies."what happened?"

"Jen is sturggling to find out what happened now Max, she is more worried about his physical condition than mental right now," Anne replies.

 Lau soon Havon, a member of the Thirteen from Japan, is brought in to find out, to speak to him. The unassuming man walks in, pulls off his body armor, sets aside a gun belt, a rifle and a Samuri Sword. He is introduced to the group and he bows, and the group nervously bows in return, before he is taken into the med Center, as the door opens you can hear Japanese being shouted from Saif. Lau rushes in ans slams shut the door behind him, as Jen and Mrs. Wallace fight to strap him to the exam table.

"Holy shit what are they doing to him?"asks Evan.

"Don't you start with that kind of talk mister, I'm still your mother!" Anne declares.
