I quickly mix drinks left and right the bar packed, it being a Friday night.
The door opens. "Hi welcome. Someone will be right with you." I say looking up to see a man wearing a black hoodie and mask.
"Go ahead and ask what he wants I'll take over here." I nod grabbing my notepad and walking over.
"What can I get for you today?" I smile.
"Water. I'm waiting for someone."
"Of course." I write down his water going back behind the bar.
The door opens again Keigo walking in my black coat covering his wings and a beanie covering his hair.
He sits down next to the sketchy man and they start to talk every once and a while looking around.
Once the crowd calms down I have time to sit.

I look up seeing Keigo standing back up shaking the mans hand and leaving.
The man continues to sit at the table just analyzing.
As more people leave the more comfortable he becomes.
"Sir we're gonna be closing soon." I say.
The man looks over at me before standing walking halfway towards me then stopping.
"Goodbye. Hero."
Blue flames ingulf the room, almost immediately I duck under the bar grabbing my coworker and wrapping my wings around him.
Using my own fire I create a barrier around us the man's blue flames starting to destroy the bar.
"I'll get you out of here. Call the police." I whisper.
He nods and I make a mad dash for the front door slamming it open.
Quickly he runs down the street as I turn and look back at the bar in flames.
Looking inside the man has disappeared leaving the bar.
"Fuck." I run back inside looking around. There is a young lady on the ground unconscious as well as our DJ on the ground.
Quickly I wrap the woman in my wings as the blue flames burn my body.
"Shit. Fuck." I grab onto Kai dragging him behind me back out of the building.
Both are breathing when I exit. I place them on the ground falling on my ass and coughing.
The flash of lights catches my attention.
"Hey are you okay?" A officer asks.
"I'm fine check on these two please."
The sound of feathers rustling and loud footsteps approach me. "Fuck. Jada. I'm so sorry."
Keigo pulls me into his chest kissing me over and over again.
I smile shrugging. "I'll be fine stupid."
"I should have never agreed to meet him there. I didn't know you were working."
"I'm fine. Seriously." I smile holding his face.
"Sir we need to check your wounds." A paramedic says.
"I'll be okay. They'll heal in a few days." I say standing up Keigo helping me.
"I'll kill him! I'll do it!" The winged hero roars pacing his penthouse.
"Keigo! I'm fine! You have to keep up the act. One day I might find him." My boyfriend stares at me.
Sighing he sits down at one of the lounge chairs. "Stupid burnt bastard. You could have died Jada."
"I didn't! I can handle myself!" Keigo rubs his face.
Looking back up at me eyes void of emotion. "I should have known."
"You didn't. Now just stop. You worry too much. If you want tomorrow I'll go to the agency with you." My boyfriend sighs standing up.
"Okay. Goodnight."
"Yeah. Night."
