After only a week of being home, I was able to change my name and file residency with the help of Ochaco and Izuku who was thrilled to find his high school friend came back and that he was going to be an uncle. Now on my license and accounts the name Hoshino Hanabi took place. I was no longer Amelia now, my past self was completely gone especially when I mailed the last of the divorce papers."Hoshino Hanabi?" I looked up from my phone and saw the nurse waiting.
"That's me," it was still an adjustment to the new name.
"Follow me please," I stood up as did Izuku who had brought me to the appointment since Ochaco was called for a rescue mission. Following the nurse, we walked into a white room. Izuku sat on the chair by the door as the nurse pulled a curtain and asked me to change into a paper gown but to keep my pants on, then to sit in the chair in the middle of the room before leaving. Doing as told, I held the thin paper close for decency as Izuku and I talked about nonsense. Izuku in the short time had managed to score #1 hero and was filling me in on what I had missed while being gone. Izuku still stuttered nervously but there was an underlying confidence as he sat up straight and his green eyes sparkled with pride as he talked about being a hero. Soon a light tap came from the door.
"Come in," I called out and a small plump woman walked in claiming to be Doctor Sung. She had feathers rather than hair on her body all a beautiful blue color. After introductions were made and Izuku gave the doctor an autograph the ultrasound started. With the cold jelly on my stomach, the doctor placed the ultrasound down. It was uncomfortable and slimy. My face must have been scrunched up because Izuku moved closer and held my hand giving it a squeeze and smile.
"Well there's your baby," on the screen a small shape stood out. A head, hands and little feet. I started to cry, "seems like you're about 5 or 6 months along. Lucky thing not showing, you look great for a pregnant woman," the doctor laughed, "Would you like to know the gender?"
"Yes please," the doctor moved the ultrasound around.
"Congratulations Miss Hoshino, it's a girl," both Izuku and I cheered. The doctor then printed some pictures and took her leave.
Walking out the clinic Izuku continued to stare at the ultrasound pictures.
"This is amazing Hana," Izuku handed the picture back and I placed it in the envelope to show Momo, Mina, and Ochaco later.
"I'm so excited right now I can't wait to meet her,"
"Do you know what you're going to name her?" Izuku pulled me towards a crepe cart and ordered one for me. Gladly accepting the treat with strawberries and chocolate, I took a bite moaning a bit and swallowing before answering.
"Takara," another bite was made.
"Hoshino Takara," Izuku placed his hand on my stomach slightly blushing, "Can't wait to meet you,"
With a smile I laughed and thanked Izuku.
"Hey maybe you and Ochaco can give her a cousin," Izuku's face went red and he started to stammer.
"W-what do yo-ou mean?" Flustered he was caught off guard.
"Izuku I know you love her and she loves you. I thought you would have gotten married right after U.A," I laughed stating the obvious attraction between the two.
"Y-yeah," Izuku's blush deepened.
"Izuku do it when it feels right but don't let her slip okay?" I looked up at him since he was a good foot above me.
"I promise!" He declared and gave me a big hug which I returned. Izuku then took me home. There we found that Ochaco was home, along with Mina and Tsu who were all caught in the act of building a crib.
