"Mommy! Mommy!" I woke up to Takara jumping up and down on my bed. I look over at my alarm to see that it was 9:30 am, "Auntie Oco says it's time to get up,"

Still feeling tired I instead grabbed Takara and wrapped her into the blanket with me and snuggled her.

"Come cuddle with mommy for a bit," I closed my eyes and held her. Happy just to hold my daughter in my arms I gave a content sigh. She gave a giggle but laid there with me and started to play with my hair. When her little hands stopped moving I knew she had fallen asleep and I drifted back into sleep.

"Hanabi," there was a light shake. In a panic I looked over back to the clock and saw the clock read 10:03. Ochaco was sitting at my side laughing at the panic I just had, " You're alright Hanabi,"

Takara started to stir next to me then sat up and gave a big yawn.

"Missy, you were supposed to wake mommy up not go to sleep," Ochaco laughed while picking the little girl up.

"Sorry auntie but mommy is so warm and squishy it feels nice," the little girl rested her head on Ochaco's shoulder rubbing her eyes at the same time.

"Oh mommy is nice and squishy," Ochaco laughed pinching my side and I couldn't help but follow, slightly embarrassed that my own daughter thinks I'm getting chunky. The two headed out of my room as I stood up and threw on my uniform for work. It was a cream long sleeve with black jeans and the shop's red apron. I headed to the bathroom brushing my hair out this time and applying the same light makeup as last night. Content with my appearance I walked downstairs to find Ochaco and Takara cuddling and watching tv. My heart swelled.

"Ochaco thank you," I wrapped my arms around her shoulders hugging her from behind.

"For what?" She gave me a concerned look.

"For being here for Takara and me. I'm not sure what I'd do without you and helping me with Takara. You're just so good to me and I don't know how I can ever make it up to you and-" I was cut off by a hand on my mouth.

"Enough of that Hanabi. You don't have to thank me for anything we're family. I'm blessed to have you and Takara and I'm just happy to be a part of your lives. Don't ever feel like you need to pay me back. We're in this together," tears started to form in both of our eyes and we just hugged it out. I was so thankful for my best friend and the life she's been helping me lead for Takara. With one last squeeze we let go.

"I'll be done at 4, meet me at the mall?" I called at the door.

"See you there,"

"Bye mommy,"

"Bye baby," I locked the door behind me and made my way to the train.

This time it was a short 15 minutes by train to a small little family tea shop. The owners were an elderly couple who were full of life. They were sweet and allowed me to bring Takara in if Ochaco was called into work. Not having any of their kids nearby they didn't have a relationship with their grandkids so they became grandparent figures to Takara. Every opportunity they got they spoiled her rotten. Even telling customers that would ask who she was that Takara was their beautiful granddaughter. I didn't mind at all considering I would never let my own father meet her. Walking in today it was only Yuki, the elderly wife, behind the counter.

"Good morning Hanabi," the little woman smiled. Though nearing 80 she still had a spark in her and was quick behind the counter. Her white hair always in a single braid and dark eyes kind with a permanent upwards smile on her face. She had the shop's green mugs lined up in front of her ready to activate her quirk at a moments notice. She was able to fill any cup with boiling water from her hands which made her perfect for a tea shop owner.
