You're insecure

Don't know what for

You turn heads when you walk through the doo-oor

Don't need makeup to cover up

Being the way that you are is enough

Harry's eyes fluttered open, his head unconsciously bobbing to the beat of the song. His hand reached over to shut off his limited edition, mini concert stage One Direction alarm clock and hovered there.

Everyone else is the room can see it

Everyone else but you-u

He sprung out of bed to join the chorus, dancing around his room. He opened the curtains, letting the rising sun wash over him. Harry then ran to the walk-in closet to pick out his outfit for the day.

You don't know-oow

You don't know you're beautiful!

He hummed to himself, skimming his fingers down the line of clothes until he found what he was looking for—a comfy white t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a wide-brim hat. Before heading down to breakfast, Harry took a moment to stare out the mansion window. High on a hill, they had a birds-eye view of Robot City which was spread out below like a shiny, shimmering blanket upon the Earth.

Harry sighed. He'd be sad to leave this place to continue the tour. As far as rentals went, this one had been the nicest temporary home.

"Harry," Liam's voice called from downstairs, "Come down here!"

Harry raced from his room and slid down the steep banister to reach the house's main floor. When he arrived in the dining room, Niall, Zayn and Liam were already seated and eating.

"Looks like Sleeping Beauty decided to join us," Niall said.

Harry smiled sheepishly and loaded up on tacos with organic guacamole—his favorite. "Sorry... I got distracted."

"Thinking about Rodney," Zayn said shrewdly.

"No!" Harry retorted, blushing. "I was thinking about how I miss having a house."

The boys chewed and clinked their silverware for a few minutes to fill the silence.

Liam eventually cleared his throat. "So, lads, what's the plan for today? I'm going to go over the books...make sure we're on budget for the month."

The other boys winced in sympathy. Although they were superstars, travelling the world did have its costs. However, budgeting was boring and Liam was the only one who knew how to do math, anyway.

"As riveting as that sounds," Niall said, "I've got some serious gaming to catch up on."

"I've got a hot date," Zayn said shortly.

"I've got some songwriting to do," Harry said shyly.

The other three looked at him in surprise. They'd been performing old stuff for two years now, and had seemed to have given up on writing as touring became a full-time gig. They also knew that Harry only wrote when he was heartbroken or in love.

Liam reached across the table and took Harry's hand in sympathy. "Did Jennifer Aniston renew the restraining order?"

"What? No. I don't know," Harry mumbled. "I just feel like writing."

The boys didn't question him any further. But Harry sat silently, his mind in turmoil. He'd succeeded in not thinking about Rodney for the first twenty minutes of his day, but the florescent blue robot always found a way to sneak back in. The truth was, Harry was both in love and heartbroken. Rodney had captured Harry's heart without even knowing. And now he hated all them all—especially Harry.

What was a boy to do but write a sad song about it?
