Harry ran his hands through his flowing, brunette locks nervously. He always got a bit antsy before a show. The lads liked to make fun of him for it.

"Four hundredth time's the charm, eh Styles?" Zayn said, laughing.

Harry smiled ruefully and adjusted his navy blue blazer to expose the white tank top underneath. His white chinos were pressed to perfection, and his red Air Jordans were tastefully untied—in other words, he was ready for the stage.

The four boys of One Direction—Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn—gathered together for their pre-concert ritual. Looking around at them, Harry knew there was no one he trusted more in the world. They'd been together through thick and thin: winning the X-Factor, navigating the treacherous world of music, surviving the civil war that brought about nuclear destruction to the UK, and now performing a world tour!

"Okay, lads," Niall said, "We'll be on the lookout tonight, correct?"

The boys nodded in agreement. It was the same every night of tour—scanning the crowd and searching, but for the past few months, to no avail. Tonight would be different, though. Harry could feel it. It was the first stop in Robot territory, and Robot City would be the perfect place to find who they were looking for.

The stage manager came up behind the group, clearing his throat. "You're on."

The boys broke apart and made for the stage. Harry breathed in the buzzing energy of ten thousand robots and plastered his performing smile onto his face. He jogged out onto the stage.
