My body won't move...
My eyes won't open...
But I can still hear and feel...
I hear calmly flowing water...
I feel like my upper half was stripped down to my undershirt.
And something feels incredibly soft underneath my head. Almost like a pillow, but with a firm core. It feels familiar...
Wait. I know this feeling. I've felt this before.
I finally find the willpower to open my eyes, and I can see dimly glowing golden willow branches, along with Willow herself.
(Y/N): "...Hey."
Willow: "Hello."
(Y/N): "...Am I on your lap?"
Willow: "Indeed."
(Y/N): "May I ask why?"
Willow: "Hm...No."
(Y/N): "I'm gonna anyway. Why am I on your lap."
Willow: "You're quite bold, defying a goddess."
(Y/N): "Pshh. What've I got to lose? my life?"
She giggles, Placing a hand on what I can assume to be a bruise on my cheek by the way it hurts to touch.
Willow: "Voltha's kick to your side reopened a bullet wound in your side."
(Y/N): "I guess that explains why I'm not wearing my shirt."
Willow: "And as to why you're on my lap is so I can heal your bruise."
I was right about the bruise then.
Willow gently caresses my cheek and the pain dissipates, and I decide to take this opportunity to take her up on her guidance offer.
(Y/N): "So...Where am I supposed to go?"
Willow: "Hm?"
(Y/N): "You said that something bad was gonna try to do a bad thing, I gotta make it not do the bad thing. How? Where am I supposed to go? I mean, you mentioned something about elves, so I'm sorta assuming that I need to find elves."
Willow sighs, Patting me on the head.
Willow: "For now, join the guild in Moonfell. You are strong, yes. But you must be much, much stronger if you are to face what lies ahead."
(Y/N): "You mean satan or whatever?"
Willow: "Well...I suppose you're not too far off the mark. But now, it's time you wake up. I'll see you after you join the guild, okay?"
(Y/N): "Alright. It's sounds like a hassle, but fine."
Willow then picks my head up and shuffles our from under me, placing a kiss on my forehead. As soon as she does however, my eyes shoot open to the sight of the cloth ceiling of the shamans hut. I slowly get up, my muscles aching a bit but it's nothing I can't handle. Looking at my body, I can see that for one, I still don't have my shirt and stuff on, and two, I have bandages around my forearms.
Finding my upper body clothing neatly folded and laid out next to me, I get dressed and head out of the Hut, much to the shamans frustration, who was sitting just outside of the hut. According to him I should not be up for at least another day or two, but I'm too stubborn to listen to medical professionals. I mean, what am I gonna do? Die?
No, wait, I already made that joke before. FUCK!
Wondering my way back to the center of the stronghold, I find the Chieftain Voltha sitting on top of the skull chair. I guess she's also too stubborn to listen to the medical professional, Because she also has a bunch of bandages covering her more injured areas. The sun is just about set, why is she still up?
