Osoro was hanging around the incinerator with the other delinquents while waiting for school to start. They weren't doing anything important, mostly just talking about whatever came to mind. However, Osoro could barely focus on the conversation. She was too busy looking at the distance at Enji, who seemed to be sketching something while looking straight in Osoro's direction.
"Hey, Osoro, something on your mind?" Umeji, her right-hand man, asked.
Osoro looked at him and then back at Enji, "What's he doing over there?"
The rest of the delinquents followed her gaze. "That's one of the guys from the art club, right? He has to be drawing something." Dairoku said.
"It's... not the first time he's been around here though, right?" Hayanari asked.
"Wasn't he here last week, too?" Gaku added.
"He's been hanging around me for a while, now. I'm not sure why." Osoro said. She remembered seeing Enji around a lot, specifically before school started and during cleaning time. Every time, he's been working on his sketchbook, just like he was doing now.
"What, is he stalking you or something?" Umeji asked while readying his weapon. "Do you want us to deal with him?"
"... Nah. I'll tell him to get lost." Osoro walked over to Enji while the rest of the delinquents encouraged her to teach him a lesson. Once she was close enough, Enji quickly hid his sketchbook behind him and smiled up at her.
"Osoro! It's nice seeing you-"
"What are you doing?" She cut him off harshly.
"Ah, what do you mean?" He tilted his head innocently.
"What exactly do you have in that book of yours?" She was not happy that Enji was following her around and she was going to make sure to let him know that.
"Oh, it's nothing important! I just wanted to step outside to find inspiration for my next piece."
"While looking over at the incinerator?"
Enji winked. "You can find beauty in the most unsuspecting places, you know!"
Osoro just blinked. She had been caught off guard by Enji's remark. It almost seemed like... he was talking to her? She shook her head. "You've been following me around all week."
"Hm?"
"Don't act stupid. I know you've noticed me looking at you before." Enji said nothing. "Whenever I look at you, you immediately go back to drawing. What do you have in that thing, anyway?"
"Oh? Why is it so important to you that you look inside?"
"Because if you don't let me, I'll break your face in half." She glared at him.
Enji chuckled. "As harsh as ever, I see."
"Just show me what's inside before you end up regretting it." Enji shrugged and handed the sketchbook over to Osoro. She looked at the drawing, and it took her a few seconds to realize that the drawing is of her. It was of her with her usual stoic expression, and it was practically finished by now. She'd never admit it, but it was really good.
Enji smiled at her. "What do you think of my newest piece?"
Osoro handed the sketchbook back to him and looks at him curiously. "Why are you drawing me?"
"Don't you know? I only draw the most beautiful people!" Osoro was taken aback. Was that... a compliment? For her? Enji seemed to notice her confusion and chuckled. "Is something wrong?"
