The next day started off even worse than the last. Osoro barely got any sleep because she spent most of the night thinking about her sudden realization, which lead to her oversleeping. At first, she tried to reason with herself that it wasn't true. However, she eventually realized that there wasn't any other explanation and just ended up accepting it.

Unfortunately, this left her with another problem. How should she tell Enji? She... wasn't the type of person that could express her feelings well. Even if she was being sincere, there was a chance that Enji would get the wrong message. Not to mention... what if he didn't feel the same way?

The thoughts plagued her mind until she reached her classroom. She opened the door with an annoyed expression on her face. She must've opened it with more force than usual because everyone started looking at her. The teacher, Shiori Rikitake, looked at her as well.

"Miss Shidesu, you're late. Please, try to make it to class on time in the future." She said in a stern voice.

Osoro said nothing as she took her seat next to Umeji. She barely payed any attention to him, or to anyone else, for that matter. There was only one thing on her mind. She kept outweighing the pros and cons of telling Enji the truth. On one hand, she wouldn't have to keep it bottled up for the rest of her life. On the other hand... there was the possibility that Enji would reject her. If that happened... would they even be friends anymore? Or would it be too awkward? If she kept quiet, would she end up regretting it? Would things be better or worse if she just confessed? Or... should she just keep it inside her? What if... Enji finds someone else and she loses her chance?

For the first time in a long while, she felt scared. Scared for their friendship, for their future.

Lunch time rolled around and Osoro was still having a hard time deciding on what she wanted to do. She spent the entirety of class time focusing on her feelings for Enji instead of what the teacher was talking about. She needed some time to think about things on her own. She thought about telling her group that something came up so that she could have some alone time and hopefully consider her options-

"Osoro, sweetheart!!!"

She recognized that voice. It belonged to him... She turned around and tried to act as natural as possible. "Enji, what do you want?"

Enji smiled up at her. "Well... since yesterday, you received my cooking with nothing but kind words, I decided to make you some more!"

"Y... You did...?" She... was in trouble. She felt herself slightly heating up when Enji greeted her with that cute smile of his, but now she was heating up even more.

Enji nodded. "I decided to make you something you can heat up for dinner. I decided to go all out, too!"

Osoro looked away and brushed her hair in front of her face in an attempt to hide it. "... I... see..."

"Osoro, are you alright?"

"I-I'm fine!" She quickly grabbed the lunch box from Enji. "Thanks. I'll be sure to try it when I get home." She walked away from him, ignoring his calls for her. She couldn't talk to him right now. She had to sort things out with herself first.

Enji looked at her as she walked away. That was... strange. Osoro's never acted like that before. Did he... do something wrong? "I don't think I did..." Maybe he should've gone after her and try pressing harder. He was really worried, honestly... "Maybe... something came up?" Or maybe, she didn't want to talk to him anymore...?
