Osoro was in a bad mood. She got caught up in some stupid fight down at the breakfast place she frequented, and she had to teach the idiot a lesson. Because of that, she couldn't take the time to finish her food like she usually did. She had to get out before the cops showed up. She was mostly fine, though; aside from a cut she got on her face. How the hell was she supposed to know he had a knife on him?

That wasn't the only problem though. While getting ready to head out, she had received a text from Umeji informing her that the five of them weren't going to be at school today. The reason? After she left with Enji, the five of them had gotten in a fight with another student. He didn't share too many details but did tell her that the person was badmouthing her for her recent interactions with Enji and Gaku just so happened to overhear the conversation. It started off as a verbal altercation and it escalated from there... Someone else walking by got a teacher involved and the six of them got sent to the guidance counselor, who suspended them for today with just a warning.

Osoro counted it as a blessing for the student involved. If she had gotten wind of the conversation... well, she probably would've been suspended for a lot longer for doing a lot worse. She didn't care about what other people said about her, but she wasn't going to let anyone say something bad about Enji simply because they had been talking a lot. However, their suspensions made it so that Osoro would have to spend the whole day alone, which would be incredibly boring... At this point, she was wondering if she should even bother showing up. A part of her wanted to skip school and hang out with the others...

As she was mulling over her options, she noticed Enji a bit farther ahead than she was. "He goes through this route? Why haven't I seen him before?" She called out to him, and he turned around and smiled at her.

"Ah... Osoro." Once she walked up to him, his eyes widened. "Oh dear! What happened to you?!"

"Huh? Oh, you mean this?" Osoro asked as she pointed to the fresh scar on her cheek. "It's nothing. I just got in a fight with some idiot."

"I see..." Enji said. He seemed worried.

"Why are you so upset? I'm fine. I can handle myself."

Enji smiled softly. "I know how strong you are. It's one of many great qualities of yours! However, I can't help but worry about you, anyways."

"You don't have to. I'll live." Enji said nothing. "Can we not talk about that? Thinking about it's starting to piss me off..."

"... I understand. Despite how beautiful you are when you're angry, you're even more beautiful when you're happy!"

"Ah-" Osoro huffed. She didn't know why she was so surprised anymore...

Enji chuckled. "Since you're here, would you be alright with walking to school with me?"

In the past, Osoro would've definitely said no to him. However, she couldn't deny that she was beginning to enjoy Enji's company... "Sure. Let's go."

"Ah- really? That's wonderful! Well then, let's get going!" Osoro nodded and they began heading out. "I'll admit, I'm surprised to find out you walk down this route, too. I haven't seen you around here before."

"It's probably because I'm out early."

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah, I didn't get to finish eating. Usually, it takes me a while. But I had to get out of there before the cops showed up."

Enji's eyes widened slightly. "Really?" Osoro nodded. "... Is this related to the fight you were in?"

"Yes."
