A/N: If you want to listen to a song while reading this, listen to The Scientist by Coldplay when I tell you. I listened to it while I wrote it...

Liam's POV

"What is One Direction?" I yelled at the TV. What a coincidence! We were the answer on Jeopardy!

"What is One Direction?" the timid woman on the TV asked.

"That is correct."

"Ha! Booyah! Hell yeah that's right, Alex Trebek," I screamed at the TV.

Yes I was home alone.

Niall (safe out of the hospital) was out with Rachel and Louis was out with Eleanor and I had no idea where Zayn and Harry were. Hopefully not fighting.

But there was something strangely peaceful about screaming at jeopardy alone.

I'm normal, I swear!

"Brrrrriiiinnnnngggggggiiiiittttttyyyyy Briinnnnngggg Brrrriiinngggggg Pick Up The Phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Louis' voice yelled. I looked around startled a moment, before I realized where it was coming from.

Damn Hooligan messing with my ringtones again!

But all annoyance was erased when I saw who was calling.

Danielle.

I smiled to myself and picked up the phone. "Helllooooo?" I said goofily.

(A/N Start listening now...) "Liam."

I knew that voice. "Dani, what's wrong?!" I asked anxiously.

"Nothing um..."

"It's not nothing love, I can tell," I said soothingly. But me mind was racing. "Tell me."

There was a long pause where I wondered if she'd hung up. But then she blurted out, "Me and Eleanor got in a fight."

"Aw, sweetheart," I said, settling into the couch. "What about?"

"Um nothing just uh...I don't want to come over tonight. In case she's there."

"Lou took her out for dinner, they shouldn't be back for a while. Want me to come over?"

"Um uh no," she sighed. I could tell she was frustrated. "Actually um I'll come over there."

Now I was confused. "Um okay?"

"Bye."

Click.

Now that was strange. Dani and El never got into fights. Not real ones anyways. And she always told me what they were about... Something was definitely wrong. Something more than she was letting on.

Jeopardy was no longer interesting all of a sudden.

About ten minutes later, there was a knock on the door. I got up slowly, still very confused, and opened the door. Danielle stood there. In one of my grey t-shirts with a belt around the middle and a pair of grey skinny jeans. She had a navy blue coat draped over her arm.

And she looked beautiful. As always.

I leaned in to kiss her and she ducked away. "Hey," she said shyly. Now I was worried.

"Come in?" I asked. She didn't usually need an invitation.

We went to sit on the couch. She'd been looking at her hands the entire time. When we sat down, she looked up at me, her big brown eyes full of tears.

I looked over in alarm. "Danielle, what's wrong?!"

I leaned over to wipe a tear, but once again, she leaned away.
