Kirishima x Reader Soulmate AU

(A/n I wanted to write a soulmate au because they're cute. I couldn't decide who I wanted to write about. Kirishima was chosen.)

Y/n POV

Soulmates. I live in a world where everyone has one. In this world, you can write anything on yourself and whatever you write or draw will show up on the exact same spot on your soulmate. The idea of it is cool, but sometimes it sucks. My friend's soulmate wrote that she belonged to him on her back in huge letters. She had to give up her crop tops for a while because she was ashamed of it. It was a huge mess.

My soulmate and I talk. We exchanged numbers, so we wouldn't have to keep writing on our skin to talk.  He seems super sweet. He says 'manly' a lot and I find that adorable. I can't wait to actually meet him but I'm scared. I know we're meant to be, but part of me doesn't know if we are really meant to be. (If that makes sense?) 

He goes to a hero school U.A. He has red hair and red eyes. He says he has shark teeth which sounds cool but freaky at the same time. He seems very passionate about becoming a hero and I love that. I on the other hand don't really care about becoming a hero. They're amazing yeah, but I just don't think that line of work is for me. 

I go to a school called,                              . I have h/c hair and e/c eyes. While my soulmate plans on becoming the 'manliest hero' as he would say it, I plan on becoming an artist.

We haven't told each other our names because we want that to be a surprise but we did describe ourselves. He told me to call him Kiri and he calls me, by my nickname, n/n.

My parents are super happy that I'm getting to know my soulmate. They already want to meet him. They already know that they'll love him. (Who doesn't though?)

I have a coffee date set up with him to meet him later on today. My friends have been teasing me non-stop about it and it's getting really annoying. They've met their soulmates and they're happy about them. Now, it's my turn. 

I'm currently sitting down in class listening to some stupid lesson I won't even use in the future. Class is boring so I use my quirk. My quirk allows me to daydream but where everything feels real. I can also bring anyone with me. It's super cool and it helps me get out of these stupid classes.

School went by pretty quickly. I didn't even know it was over until my best friend Jade, tapped me on the shoulder and I woke up from my wonderful daydream. She scolded me for not paying attention but I zoned that out. She then got super excited when she remembered I would be meeting my soulmate. She insisted on helping me pick an outfit, and when it comes to her, NOTHING gets in her way. I agreed and we walked to my house. 

My parents weren't home so we just ran straight for my room. We got there and she threw her backpack onto my bed and opened my closet. She started throwing all kinds of shirts, shorts, dresses, skirts, and sweaters. I was texting Kiri, when I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked over at Jade, and she was holding a pastel pink sweater with some dark grey shorts and cute cat over the knee socks. 

"You ARE so wearing this Y/n," Jade smiled.

"It's cute! I'll wear it." I said.

I walked into the bathroom and got changed. I walked out and Jade started clapping and telling me how good I looked.

"Am I ready?" I asked myself and Jade.

"LET ME DO YOUR HAIR!" Jade shouted.

"Hmm, I guess you can," I laughed, sitting in front of my vanity.

She walked over to me and began brushing my hair. She asked me so many questions about Kiri. I answered all of them as if Kiri and I had been dating for years. 

"You sure know a lot about this Kiri guy," She giggled.

"Yeah, of course I do. He's my soulmate after all," I beamed.

"Take selfies with him, A LOT of them. I want to see how cute you too are," She said, right before she finished. "Done," she sang.

She did this really cute half up half down kind of hairdo. It was perfect. Then she added a pink bow to the part that was up. 

"I got to go, I don't want to be late. You can stay if you want, my parents should be home in a bit," I shouted the last part at her. I didn't even wait for a response.

I left the house and made my way to the coffee shop where I would meet my soulmate, the love of my life, my forever. This would be the most important part of my life.

We said we would meet up in front of the coffee shop and wait outside for the other person, before going in. That's when I saw him. He's gorgeous. He has this spiky but not too spiky red hair and the most beautiful red eyes. He looked at me and we stared into each other's eyes. At that moment, nothing else mattered. The world stopped moving and let us have this cute little moment.

"You're Kiri correct?" I broke the silence.

"Yeah, I am. You must be n/n," he smiled, showing off his shark teeth. Cute.

-MAGICAL TIME SKIP POWERS ACTIVATED-

The date went perfectly. We talked about ourselves and learned more about our life. It was perfect. We walked out of the coffee shop and we stopped right in front of it.

"Y/n I know this might be super early but I don't care. You're my soulmate so I know we're meant to be. Y/n I love you," Kiri blushed.

"Eijiro, I love you too," I said.

(A/n What'd you guys think? I geniuly enjoyed writing it and I think it was short and fluffy. XD I have a Denki x Reader Hanahaki AU in the works.)
