Am I RIGHT?

Daniel's POV

"Ma where are you?" Daniel called her mom over the phone.
"I'm at the house why?- Mrs. Alarcon
"I'm here at the hospital. I need you here. Samuel collapsed a while ago in the apartment." - Daniel
"Okay I'll be there. Send me the name of the hospital." - Mrs. Alarcon
And Mrs. Alarcon drive to the hospital

At the hospital, "Doc how's Samuel?" Daniel asked Dr. Sanchez when it went out of the emergency. "He is still unconsciuos. Do you know his health history?" Doctor asked Daniel. "No. Doc he didnt told me that." Daniel replied. "And you are his?" Doctor asked Daniel. "I'm his friend." Daniel replied. "Do you know anyone who is related to him?" Dr. Sanchez asked Daniel again. "I know his father lived at the next town." Daniel replied. "Do you have his contact? We really needs his father as soon as possible." Dr. Sanchez ordered to Daniel. "Wait here is his phone I will look for it." Daniel scrolled the phone directory of Samuel's phone and luckily he saw Samuel's father contact. "Here Doc." Daniel showed the contact to Dr. Sanchez. "You better contact him right now. We do really need him." Dr. Sanchez told to Daniel. "Yes doc." Daniel replied. "May I leave you? Just update me if you already contacted the patient's father." Dr. Sanchez left Daniel.

"Daniel...." Mrs. Alarcon already at the hospital. "Ma." Daniel hugged his mother and cried. "What happen to Samuel?" Mrs. Alarcon asked her son. They sat at the bench and Daniel told everything.
"He was busy cooking for our food this afternoon when I saw him holding his head. I ask him if he was okay then he said he was so I continue watching tv. After he prepared our dinner he called me and we eat and when he stood up because he was finished eating. He collapsed and I brought him here quickly." Daniel told the story to his mother while crying. "And what the doctor said?" Mrs. Alarcon asked Daniel. "He was still unconscious and he told me that I should contact any relatives of Samuel for verification of his medical history." Daniel replied. "But unfortunately his father is cannot be reached. So I just texted him and I will wait for the reply." Daniel continued. Mrs. Alarcon tried to calm down her son. "Ma'am are you related to Patient Samuel Vero?" the nurse attendant asked Mrs. Alarcon. "Yes what happen to him?" Mrs. Alarcon replied. "He was still unconsciuos but he was already put in room 233 for observation. You can go there already so you can take care of him and have rest." the nurse attendant explained. "Thank you nurse. " Mrs. Alarcon answered. "You're welcome Ma'am, Room 233 is on the second floor left wing." the nurse ordered the two and left. Daniel and his mother went to see Samuel's condition.

Volleyball Finals Day

Justine was very nervous because this is his sixth straight years in this scenario, same place, same opponent their six year rival, the Green Fighter whom got the 5the consecutive championship, and their team Blue Warriors only places second for 5 years. Justine also saw his ultimate rival at the net the best middle blocker for 5 years Arjay Benedeta. "Hey Justine, are you ready to be at second place again?" Arjay asked Justine. Justine just smiled. Andrei heard what Arjay uttered. "This year will be a new story." Andrei replied. "Oh newbie don't be too proud. Yes you created names during the eliminations but today will be another story." Arjay looked at Andrei and Andrei looked back at him. Justine grabbed Andrei hands and they walked away.

The game will about to start. "_Good luck guys, remember always smile and focus.". Coach Joey ordered his team for the last moment. "Yes coach." everyone replied. "Fight!" Coach Joey. "Fight!!!!" everyone.

"Welcome to the final round, between Blue Warriors and Green Fighters, a 1-1 finale record, who will be this years Volleyball Champion? Will it be the 5th time defending champion the Green Fighters, and the fans gets wild or the their ultimate rival the Blue Warriors.

Lets meet the starter of the Blue Warriors, Jersey number 2, main setter, Justine Agustin, Jersey number  7 Patrick Elas, Jersey number 10, team Captain, Justine Reyes, Jersey number 11 rookie of the year Andrei Barlis, Jersey number 12 Dexter Santos, Jersey number 15 Carlo Enriquez and Jersey number 18 the playing libero, Anthony Hilario and now lets meet the starter of the Defending Champion  Green Fighters and the starter of the opponent team went at the court.

During the set 1 the Warriors was struggling their shaky first ball were capitalized by the opponent ace spiker Arjay even the setting were not in good terms ending the set 1 25-16.

At the second set, Justine-Andrei tandem at the net emerged as they tied the set for almost 6 times but ended 25-23 giving the opponent team 2-0 advantage.

At the time out,
"You want to win?" Coach Joey asked the team. "Yes coach." the team replied. "Remember Justine this will be your last play. How do you want to end your journey as high school volleyball player?" Coach Joey looked at Justine. "Andrei this is your first time, you also awarded as rookie of the year, is it enough for you?" he looked at Andrei. "and team Justine really needs you this time. Don't disappoint your senior. Forget set 1 and 2 and change for the rest. Clear?" Coach Joey added. And the team nodded and set 3 started.

At the first part of the set 3, Justine locked his eyes at Arjay knowing that the setter of the opponent team rely mostly on Arjay middle hit and Justine got it correct he got 3 consecutive blocks from Arjay's hit. Justine also asked their setter to give him some running attacks and he poured about 4 points there and when Justine was at the bench Andrei was making his points together with the team second blocker Andrei. And they ended the set 3 25-22 .

Set 4 was a reply of the set 3 and they closed it 25-23.

"Okay this will be the last set, give everything. We can get it." Coach Joey. And the team shouted fight.

At the first half of set 5, Green Fighter enabled to pour 8 points leaving the Blue Warrior 4 points ahead. Coach Joey called the time out.

After the time out, Justine again capitalized at his running spikes and making the score 9-8 they were one point ahead the defending champion.

Since Justine was a middle blocker he needs to sit off when he was at the back to give way for the libero and coach ordered Andrei to protect the lead until Justine cam back at the court.

Justine needed one rotation to get inside the court and the score is 13-13. The opponent server specialist missed the serve making it 14-13 and Justine came back at the court.

When Justine was making his way to the court, the whole crowd shout for his name. "Justine, Justine, Justine. " the whole Talavera Senior High School cheered for their team captain.

Carlo served the ball, the opponent libero gets it and the setter set it to Arjay. Justine knew it so he locked his defense on Arjay and on time he jumped and blocked the ball and sent it downward the court. Giving them the championship title.

"Justine on the solid block. And our Champion, Blue Warriors" the announcers screamed on the top.of his lungs and the whole crowd scream with happiness. Andrei quickly ran towards Justine and hugged him. Justine currently crying silently that time.

"Congratulations, my mvp." Andrei whispered to Justine. Justine just cried.
