"Hey! Today we need you to do something important" that was one of the office people.
My first class of the day wasn't even a class. They made me go around the school running errands. The "class" was good at times: whenever they didn't have anything for me to do I could do whatever, and since it was the first class, I usually slept.
"And what would that be?" I looked up at the lady delivering the news.
"There is this special person coming to the school. We were hoping he would inspire some of the students or something. The thing is, that he needs to be shown around the school, taken to where he needs to go. You know things like that." The lady now looked straight at me with pleading eyes. "We would have someone from the staff to do it, but many of the teachers are out today and all our extra hands went in those directions. Since you are such a good student, the principal has decided you were capable of such task."
"Who's the guest?" If I had to spend the whole day with someone, it would be good to know who they were.
"It's a guy from a band...I don't remember the name....many of the kids have been going crazy about them" She started thinking, but I could tell it wasn't the kind of thinking that was involved with the name of the guy.
"Well, what's the name of the band?" I were starting to get impatient. What if it was this really old guy?
"5 something. How am I supposed to remember everything?"The lady came up to me."Well, it's about time for him to be here. Come with me"
I got up and walked with her to the main office. I really, really hope it wasn't an old creepy guy. When I got to the office, there were some people standing around anxiously. Then the front door opened and-
"Holy Shit!"
The teachers turned around and looked at me. I just murmured a sorry. In front of me stood no other than Michael Clifford. A member of 5 Seconds of Summer. He looked way better than I could've imagined up close. I couldn't help but chuckle. The school wanted him to give an inspirational speech?
"Michael, this is Annika. She will be showing you around and helping you in every way possible."
He looked at me and I couldn't help feeling self-conscious. Your stomach was feeling giddy. God, I am so excited. A whole freaking day with Michael Clifford!
"At what time is the assembly?" His voice was perfect too!
"Assemblies"
"You mean there will be more than one?"
"Well of course! We wouldn't be able to fit the whole school in a gym!" It looked like Michael was about to slap himself.
"How many?"
"About three"
"Your telling me I have to do it three times!" The teacher started looking stricter.
"Yes, is there a problem?"
"No," he looked at me as the staff began to leave. By the look on his face, he probably just noticed that he never got the answer to his question. I decided it was my chance to speak.
"The first one is in about 20 minutes."
He looked at me.
"Umm, what are we supposed to do until then?"
I started to lead him to the gym.
"Well, I guess you can practice what you're going to say"
