Denki found himself blanking once again. Sero had seen the barista sit down and elbowed Denki before getting up and moving to the booth behind them. Kirishima, Mina, and Tokoyami saw his plan and ushered Denki out of his seat. Mina and Sero had a small argument of whether Denki should sit next to or across from the barista, Mina won and shoved him into the corner by the window. Tokoyami sat next to the barista and and Sero sat next to him. Mina and Kirishima, gossip buddies for life, sat next to each other on the same side as Denki. Mina would elbow Denki whenever she caught him staring.
They all listened to the barista's song though. Denki recognized it as one of his favorites, 7 Years by Lucas Graham. He smiled and followed along with the lyrics, his eyes watching as the barista's lips moved softly.
The song ended quickly and the green haired barista opened his eyes and flinched in surprise. Mina started clapping, Kirishima followed, then Tokoyami, then Sero, and after and elbow to the gut, Denki began clapping too. Just quietly.
Mina opened her arms, "That was amazing! It was better than a dance!" She reached forwards to shake his hand but Kirishima stopped her.
"Mina, be nice, he's probably tired."
Denki tried not to stare out of the corner of his eye as he focused on his cookie, the green haired barista seemed to be analyzing them all. Denki finished the cookie and reached for another.
It was quiet until the green haired barista smiled, "Since you guys are already sitting here and I can't keep referring to you as 'Ms.' or 'Mr.' forever, why don't you tell me your names?"
Denki was caught off guard by the sudden question, but Mina laughed. "You're so totally right!" She giggled, "I'm Mina Ashido!"
Kirishima raised his hand, "I'm Kirishima Ejiro, nice to meet you!"
The one next to the barista shook his hand, "I'm Tokoyami Fukimage."
Sero reached over and patted the barista's shoulder, an easy feat due to his long arms, "I'm Sero Hanta!"
The barista looked at Denki. Kaminari smiled brightly and held up a finger gun, "I'm Denki Kaminari, but you can keep calling me Flirt if you'd like."
The barista giggled. Denki's eyes widened a bit at the sound, it was nice to hear.
The barista opened his eyes in momentary surprise, "I almost forgot!" He waved at them all, "I'm Midoriya Izuku, it's nice to meet you all!"
Midoriya Izuku, Denki thought carefully, it's a pretty name.
"Well, Midoriya," Mina said, "how would you like to get to know us better? You see, we have a bowling trip planned but our sixth member bailed on us, so the ticket is up for grabs~"
Midoriya looked at them as if he hadn't heard what Mina had said correctly, "I'm sorry, what?"
Kirishima smiled and nodded his head, "You should totally come with us! You seem like a pretty chill dude!"
"I'm sorry, what?"
Tokoyami turned his head towards Midoriya and bit into a cookie, "We want you- to take- the spare ticket- and go bowling with us." He said it in between bites and slowly enough that Midoriya finally processed what they were talking about.
"I'm so sorry, but I work every day. I have to hit the bar after this job."
"Incorrect!" Midoriya, and the rest of them too, jumped at the sudden interruption. They watched Midoriya turn around and scowl at the barista with brown, short hair.
"Uraraka! What possessed you to do that?!" He hissed at her while smacking her head playfully.
The short haired girl laughed and pointed to the calendar, "You haven't clocked in your monthly day off, nor did you last month, or the month before that, or the month before that. You haven't taken your day off since you first started three years ago. So, technically, your free to go!"
Midoriya blushed, unknowingly making Denki blush as well, "I can't do that! Maybe a day or two is fine, but I know you well enough to know what you're implying!"
Uraraka grinned at him, "As the owner of this place, I can say with certainty that you can do what I'm implying!"
"Sorry to interrupt," Kirishima said sheepishly, "but what is she implying?"
Midoriya gave Kirishima a tired look and pinched his nose, "She's implying that I can take at least a month off of work."
Uraraka patted his head, "That's because you can!"
Midoriya's face morphed into one of discomfort, Denki couldn't help but wonder why.
Sero raised his coffee into the air, "That's great! It can be a three week long get away!"
Mina raised her slushie and clinked it against Sero's cup, "You're so totally right! That's a wonderful idea!" She gazed hungrily at Midoriya, "You have to come! Pleeease?" She had a hundred ideas of how to get the two together and she was not ashamed of that fact.
Midoriya rubbed the back of his neck, "I mean, do you guys really want me to go?" He was unsure if they were just being kind out of respect of if they genuinely wanted him to go. This was their very first conversation after all.
"Yes!" Midoriya was a bit taken back by the noisy reaction but smiled none the less.
"Then I guess I don't really have a choice, do I?"

Kaminari did not realize what had happened until later that night, causing him to wake up in a cold, nervous, sweat.
