Chapter 5: Final Room X Flashback

The next few rooms breeze by and I feel that we have fallen into a pattern it's almost as if he can read my mind or maybe I am just that predictable.

"This is the final room," Lippo said. "The two of you make a great team."

"Well that is because you added the clause implying that each of us can't murder us and I am sure money bags beside me wanted to take me out," I remarked.

Glitter-tack rolls his eyes for the 100th time. I'm glad that I amuse him, I just hope that he doesn't mess with me later on because It would be a shame.

"What's the task?" I aks Lippo

The door opens to reveal three slides in the room.

"These slides in front the both of you will lead you to the final room however, only two of the rooms go directly to the base of the tower," Lippo says.

I look at Glitter tack and ask him," What should we do?"

"Are you going to give us any hints or riddles?" I ask Lippo

"Toodles," Lippo cheerily says before logging off.

We both approach the slides and I look down at the dark abyss and on each slide is a slip of paper with a code on it.

"Can you read it? I would think that you being a world-class assassin that you'd be trained in deciphering code," I remark.

I peer closer to the paper. "Oh my god! It's English...I haven't seen it in such a long time," I happily weep.

"Don't worry Glitter tack, I can guide us down safely. I know it might be difficult for you but, trust me," I say before I run to the other two slides and grab their respective slips of paper.

After a few minutes, I figure out which two slides we should take and I tell Glitter tack. He extends his hand out and says," Thank you".

I grab his hand firmly and I shake it," I didn't know that you had manners in there after all".

He scowls and I quickly let go of his hand and say," Catch you on the flip slide, I should see you at the base soon".

I back up a bit before sprinting and throwing my headfirst into the red slide. I swear for a fleeting moment I thought I saw black flowing hair.

I stretch my body, stand up and ask Lippo," Are we done?"

" I'll be sad to see you go and please give my regards to your sensei," Lippo wistfully says before the final door opens, leading me to the waiting room at the base of the tower.

I wave goodbye to Lippo and I walk to the waiting room. There are already a few candidates milling around. I see Glitter tack and Hisoka conversing together and I wave at Glitter tack before sitting down.

I take my sling bag off and take a sip from my water bottle. Thankfully I carry a bottle everywhere I go. I also take my shawl out of my bad and warp it around myself. As I am getting comfortable I can feel a pair of eyes intensely observing me and I look up to see Hisoka and I quickly look back down. I do not want any more trouble, no thank you, sir!

"Would you mind sharing water with this thirsty magician?" A sultry voice says from above me.

I look up and say," Yes I mind because I do not have much water left."

Hisoka purses his lips and says," My friend has social anxiety and prefers not to converse much but he wanted me to pass on a message on his behalf."

I roll my eyes and ask," What's the message?"
